Hancs Fries

This food truck was really nice. We got the banquet burger, a hot dog, and small fries which were are really good and filling. Plenty of parking spots and a few benches to enjoy a nice afternoon lunch on!

My husband and I were looking for a good place to get poutine. We decided to try Hanc's because of the reviews. They have very friendly staffs and the portion is great. However, the poutine tasted a bit bitter... 😔 I'm not sure if it's the gravy or the fries were overcooked.

Went here to eat with my girlfriend for dinner and we've been here before knowing the burgers here are typically good. When we ordered our food we were treated poorly by the cashier and she kept getting our order wrong. Finally after some back and forth we find out she has an hearing impairment and forgot her hearing aids, but not before responding to us rudely and saying that the fans are too loud in the truck as a reason for not hearing us first. After we received our food this is what thier BANQUET BURGER looked like, squished and hardly any toppings(if your paying $10 for a burger would you not expect more on it?). Also when we returned the food and wanted our money back,the blond haired lady with glasses only gave excuses and claimed there was nothing wrong with the burger and never apologised for both of thier behavouirs or for the food being sad looking.If your going to order $30 for a dinners worth of food, you would be better off going to Burger King or another burger place and get better quality food and better customer service. In the end its sad to see that Hancs would rather ruin your food then make right with thier customers.

Asked for a family size poutine with extra cheese. The box it was served in literally fell apart and the poutine was just a disaster and leaking everywhere. The total was $28… when the price list for a family poutine is $16.. shocked that extra cheese was $12. There was not what I would consider to be extra cheese, let alone enough gravy for the whole thing. Absolute rip off.

The worst poutine and burger I have ever tasted. The fries were dry and over fried and honestly it takes a lot of efforts to screw up a simple recipe of poutine .. they don’t use cheese curds in the poutine which is unbelievable.. the burger I ordered was over cooked and the patty was hard to bite into and they don’t offer any burger sauce .. there are definitely better options in the city .. wanted to try this place but never going back again. They are certainly over priced for the quality of food they serve .. save your money !

We got a pountine. The gravy and fries was good and my kid liked it. Was a bit expensive and they don't use cheese curds.

Honestly the Best Freshly made Burgwr out of a chip truck ever!!.. These are truly fresh cut fries...home made gravy...well worth the drive.

This is by far my favourite place to go for fries. It never takes long, the staff are always pleasant and the prices are great. This was just a small poutine and I sadly couldn't finish it because I was way to full!
