The goat with spaghetti ($20) was delicious! I loved it more than the Tbone and rice ($20). Portions are great for the price. Meals come with mango juice which is a plus. Definitely will come back.

Finally came in to try after passing by so many times. Inside, there’s two seating areas, a take out stand, they have robots that bring your food. We ordered the platter for two, it came with samosa, soup, mango juice, salad, choice of pasta or rice & 2 meat options. We opted to try both chicken and beef stew with rice. For starters, The beef samosa was absolutely delicious, it was paired with a green spicy sauce. The soup was light, but flavourful. I have to say the beef stew was my favourite, it was flavourful and the meat was tender. The service was great. It was a chilly in there, the only criticism would be that it could use some personal touches, the restaurant itself seems a little bare. But the food made up for it.

The food was great and as many people reviewed, the goat shoulder was a must buy. It was very tender and flavourful. The portions were large and came with lentil soup, the salad and a mango drink or pop all for $40+tax and tips, which I thought was quite reasonable. This was the dinner for 2. The other meat was the beef stew which added something different. We also got the beef samosas which were luke warm edging coldish. We wondered if it was fried from frozen and not cooked long enough but the fillings tasted great. Make sure you aren't in a rush as it does take quite a bit of time from ordering to food on the table. For reference, we usually eat not more than 30 minutes and we were there for 1.5 hours. We were only the second table seated when we ordered. This food was East African, and the waiter had mentioned Somalian, which was our first time eating this cuisine. Overall though, we would happily return.

The food here was insanely delicious. We ordered the platter for four along with an extra dinner dish and it was more than enough for five of us.The goat shoulder was falling off the bone, and the steak pieces cooked to perfection. The mango drink had that sweet taste of nostalgia taking me back to my childhood. The rice was perfect, seasoned and cooked both to perfection. I will definitely be coming here again.

Deceivingly small from the outside, Hamdi offers a spacious dining area on the inside with very friendly service. Also an added bonus that the staff recommended the appropriate dishes that complement each other. Having Goat on the menu is rare and their goat is good and tender. The platters include soup, salad, and their fresh mango juice and are a good value for family dining.

Its a halal african restaurant. We ordered platter for 2-we chosen chicken & goat as meet with rice, which came with a salad plate. Also a mini platter-chicken drumstick with spaghetti. For dessert we ordred tea slice cake which was fluffy abd yummy. Mango juice & lentil soup will be served as complimentary. The platter for 2 is huge in portion. 3 adults can easily share. Food tastes good, goat meat was soft, chicken drumsticks were little dry, rice was really good. Waiting time is quite long, almost like 20/30 min. Washroom wasn’t clean enough. Other than that overall a good experience.

Had lunch with my family and we love the food. The service was excellent and the staff were super friendly. We had a large plate with steak goat and salmon. Plus we got mango drinks and sambosa with their special sauce. We got the good quickly and we really enjoyed everything.

This was my first time eating Somalian food. I had the goat dinner with rice. It was so tender and delicious. Staff is so polite and nice. Explained how to best eat for the most flavour experience. I was blown away. I noticed reviews about the mango juice. I will have to come back soon and try that. I highly recommend this place. Very clean when I arrived at 1. And the bathroom was pretty good too. I am editing to add. I have brought many friends and family here since my review. And the service is always so friendly. The food is dynamite. I always get the goat shoulder dinner. The Samosa is also full of flavour.
