Moe was really nice and very hospitable during our time there. Food was amazing and good pricing! As you can see from the image I ate it all haha. If you’re next to the mall, consider coming here instead of the food court.

Really really really really really really pleasantly surprised. The food here was beyond fantastic ! Plan on returning real soon. Big recommendation if you like seafood but they have other things as well

Horrible food fish was dry and portions are very small hardly no chips and fish portions were very tiny, we picked this place because it was 9 mins away and the place we usually go was 20 mins away. Churchills fish and chips would have been a much better option and worth the extra 11 min drive.

Great spot for a quick breakfast that doesn't require a second mortgage! The service was fast and friendly, and the food was fresh. Definitely worth a visit!

…i used to work for an industrious hardworking fellow named Angelo @ the blue sea on Brock st in Whitby.. so I can be a little fussy on my halibut 🤷‍♀️ Angelo used to hand cut his fillets & his batter was the very lightest I have ever had… I was REALLY happy about my fish at the Halibut House !! The batter was slightly heavier but I still really liked it !! The halibut was so fresh moist and the texture as it should be..!! The slaw is really quite spot on !! I want to return to try other things 👀 I loved the server - I read the reviews - haha - what did you do 🤷‍♀️ My server was perfect - but then again - I always treat my servers with respect 😘 Rock on Halibut House..!! 😎👍

Five Stars! Fresh, Delicious, and Friendly at Halibut House! I had a fantastic experience at Halibut House Fish & Chips recently, and I couldn't wait to share it! The Vibe: The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere. It wasn't fancy, but it felt comfortable and casual, perfect for a relaxing meal. The Service: The staff were the real stars of the show! They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed and were genuinely happy to answer my questions. The Food: Now, onto the most important part – the food! It was absolutely delicious! I tried the shrimp and the fish & chips, and both were fresh and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and the fish was flaky and flavorful. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like them. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce – it was creamy and complemented the seafood perfectly. The salad was a delightful surprise – it was fresh, colorful, and packed with a variety of veggies. The portion sizes were generous, and I left feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. One Minor Hiccup: The only downside was a slight fishy smell coming from the crab dishes being prepared. It wasn't overwhelming, but it was noticeable. Overall: Despite the minor fishy aroma, my experience at Halibut House was fantastic! Tried to use this place for breakfast... I like the home fries and the eggs are reasonable, even though they come hard over no matter how I've asked for them.... I've given them now 3 chances to produce a cooked pancake and they have failed... sent the first one back because of raw batter and received a second one which was way less cooked... take it off the menu if you don't want to bother... nobody is asking you to offer basic breakfast food if you don't want to make it... I was planning to eat breakfast here all month while I finish a large construction job, but will be finding another place which can cook pancakes and eggs well.... had a fish and chips one time a few months ago and for $17 and double deep fried to reheat it I figured they were maybe better at breakfast.... I was mistaken... brought up this problem as I was paying and was charged 20 bucks for some raw pancakes.... 8.99 special ( on menu) plus a glass of milk and a coffee comes to 20.96... what in the hell? Cook did not care...
