Me and my family only have 1 problem. YOU DONT GIVE YOUR AMAZING COLESLAW ON DELIVERY!! Im disabled, cant drive and its to cold to walk. We would love if that coleslaw came in delivery and also able to order extra. We love everything else so much and would love if you would sell that coleslaw and send it out for delivery!!

So I've been coming here off and on and never had any problems. Service was always good, and food was always good. Today I ordered and my fish was soggy and cold. I took a few bites of it and could no longer handle it. I asked the waitress to take it back and knock it off my bill as I didn't want it. She brings the owner who comes over and argues that fish s is supposed to be soggy. I got tired of arguing with her and, after a while, told her to just cook it more and bring it back. The tabel next to me also had a complaint as they served an elderly lady moldy shrimp. Just like she did to me, she tried to deny there was a problem and argue. I work in customer service and have worked in the service industry. You DON'T argue when someone has an issue with food. You make it right and either re-cook everything or take it off their tab. I'm really disappointed in this place as I never had an issue until today.

Halibut and calamari were great, loved the batter and freshness! Service was also quick and efficient. We'll be back next time to try the haddock and shrimp. 🐟🍤

Me, my wife and her sister came for lunch and we are all very happy we did. This place has lots of seating and there are many tables that can accommodate wheelchair or other mobility device. Very nice and bright interior, with big windows that let lots of natural light in. The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. They were very quick to make sure your order was taken and that if you needed anything, it was taken care of. The food....... Was amazing! One of the best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. The batter on the decent size piece of halibut was perfect.... Not too thick or too thin, just in that perfect spot. Fish was flaky and moist, a fantastic cut of halibut. All 3 had the same fish and the consistency of all three were exactly the same. It is so nice to see a place actually be consistent across multiple dishes. The chips (fries) were exactly what I was hoping they'd be, fresh cut and cooked to perfection. They had a nice crunch to them but we're nice and fluffy inside. My wife had a poutine and she loved the gravy.... Only downside.... The cheese was not cheese curds, but she still very much enjoyed them. The coleslaw was great, a real eye opener. My wife and her sister both really enjoyed it. They said it was some of the best they have ever had. My sister in law finished the coleslaw first, she enjoyed it that much. I had a garden salad and I was very happy with it. You would be amazed how many restaurants mess up a simple salad, but the place is not one of them. Perfect balance of lettuce and toppings and with just the right amount of dressing. If you live in the area of this place, I am very jealous of you. I would be here at least twice a week if I could. If you don't, you can get to it very easily, as it is not far from the TTC's Victoria Park Subway Station. The food was top notch and the service was great. If you are in the mood for great fish and chips, this is the place to go. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Very relaxed neighbourhood style casual restaurant. The staff were very friendly and kind. The food was good. Simple fish and chips dishes. Ask for “lightly battered” if you want to feel a little less guilty (I know I do!) from a yummy treat!

Like their breakfast. Moderately reasonable price. I went three times already, didn’t have to wait. Friendly staff. Quick service. Plenty of parking space. They open at 9 am. Their Belgium waffles and corn bread (Little spicy, which I love) are very good. I wish they had freshly squeezed juice.

Sad to say that I did not come out happy with my dining experience. The service was good as well as the restaurant's cleanliness. It was the value for food that got me disappointed. What we ordered was the Shrimp & scallop combo ($18.95) and the Fish tacos (3 pcs for $9.95). Even more than what can be expected, both dishes tasted quite the same fried, battery taste. There were also way too much fries in the Shrimp & scallop combo meal. For the total price we paid versus what we had in terms of taste & portion sizes, it was not something I can recommend for everyone.
