Our go to place in Ajax for hakka food. We usually get their hakka noodles, manchurian pakora with gravy, and cheesecake wontons (surprisingly good) Very affordable and consistently good !

I went in there just before closing, and I was able to get fresh food and let me tell you the best hands-down chicken fried rice, sweet-and-sour chicken, and general chicken. The best Chinese food I had in a very long time. I enjoyed my food. This was just recent. I had this on Monday, December 16th hopes this helps this was just recently. The place was very clean. The lady taking my order, Was very nice she didn’t had to. She brought my food outside to me when I was outside waiting so I appreciate that.

BEWARE! I'm so upset on how dishonest this place is. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein for my son and it was $10.50 on the menu. With taxes it came to $11.87. When I scaned my card it AUTOMATICALLY added a $2.37 tip (20%) and now came to $14.24! Are you kidding me?!!! Who assumes the customer wants to give a tip, a 20% tip for take out i might add. This was so sneaky. She also had a cold and wasn't waring a mask. Lastly I'd like to add how dirty the tables were and the chairs were all ripped that I had my son ate in the car. I wouldn't go back again, this was so disappointing.

Food was dynamite when they first opened. I ordered during the pandemic, it was bad. Thought I would give them another chance last week. Disastre. Service was atrocious. She was texting while taking my order and processing payment.... Should have known food would be bad after that.... It certainly was. Never again.

Was craving for Chinese food in Ajax but ended up with a nightmare Food was below everage sitting area was terrible and depressing. The worst part is when they ask for 25 cents extra for disposable plates😡

FRAUD RESTAURANT! HORRIBLE FOOD! The noodles and rice they serve are DRIPPING oil, BLAND, TASTELESS. Absolutely UNHEALTHY (except for the barely fried veggies). CHARGED 2 DOLLARS EXTRA in the bill, which I saw after reaching home. Before drafting this review, I checked other reviews and my suspect was right. They were charged 2 Extra Dollars for nothing and I bet only a very few notice their bills as +2 doesn’t make up to a lot on the bill, but what a shame to loot, cheat their own loyal customers!!! Sure, first few bites might taste good if the food is hot, but when I could barely finish the meal, all I could say was - What a disaster!

Honestly I have mixed feelings about this place. I come here pretty often because it is halal. I haven’t tried a lot of the menu as I just order the chow mein. I just tried the Chilli chicken and It wasn’t bad. The spice and sauce was nice with the chicken being pretty tender. Reliability is the issue I have with this place. Often times I get tough meat and old tasteless food. Still better then most hakka spots. I would recommend this spot if you are travelling near by and want to have halal Asian cuisine. Their menu is huge which often is pretty scary as big menus are pretty sketchy. The meat is sourced from a halal meat spot so trust me when I say it’s hand cut halal. Overall, this place doesn’t deserve 5 stars and barely deserves the 4 stars I gave it. The reason why I have it 4 stars instead of 3 is because of the portion and prices. One chow mein can fill up two big men or 3 maybe 4 children. I won’t be eating the chilli chicken as it just isn’t for me but before you buy anything you should definitely have the Veggie, Chicken, or Beef Chow Mein. Edit: I also forgot to mention the lady who works there is sometimes disrespectful to other customers. Please don’t take it to heart she has been working there for years by herself and they seem to be extremely understaffed. She is very nice when she gets to know you. Edit 2: since coming back to this place it has seemed the quality of the food has drastically dropped. If you are coming by I wouldn’t recommend it as a halal food option. I would rather go to Mary Browns, Popeyes, or the bellagios pizza store right beside it. This place is beyond inconsistency. It’s become more consistently terrible. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere or if you want to get good food 1/20 times try it once lol.

I've been ordering from this restaurant for years and the hot and sour soup is the best but I recently bought the black pepper beef because when I buy the beef with broccoli its mostly just broccoli but this is ridiculous I couldn't even find the beef in this it was all veggies so I separated them and I see why I couldn't find any beef.
