Great food, great price and large portions. Definitely better than a lot of other Hakka places closer to downtown. Love the Manchurian chicken and chilli chicken and order it at least 2-3 times a month

Our favourite hakka place in the east!! Their dry deep fried momos are phenomenal. They have so many options and all of them are good, some of our favourites are the chilli chicken and the manchurian beef. Their service is wonderful too, they are always so sweet and so nice to us 💖 Definitely our go to take-out spot

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! If you're craving something spicy and savory that goes wonderfully with steamed rice, you should go and get some Chilli Chicken right now. The chunks of tender chicken are coated with a not-too-thick batter that makes each bite satisfying. The sauce also absorbs the aromatic flavours of garlic, ginger, and chilies, while the onions and bell peppers round out the dish by adding a contrast in texture. The jerk chicken bowl not only impresses me with flavour but also the generous portions of meaty pieces of chicken and a hefty portion of rice. Each bite offers a spicy, smoky flavour that's well seasoned, topped with a combination of scotch bonnet sauce and a sweet BBQ sauce. The basmati rice and peas have a more mushy texture, which I find a bit comforting, but also bursting with a surprisingly aromatic mix of black-eyed peas, kidney beans and chickpeas where I'd have no problem eating this without the chicken. The addition of canned pineapple chunks also provides a refreshing acidity and sweetness that refreshes the palate between bites.

I've ordered chilli chicken from a Hakka-Chinese restaurant before and didn't like it because it tasted too sweet, almost like it was watered down for Western tastebuds. I decided to give the dish another go here and I'm so glad I did! The chilli chicken here is properly spicy and fragrant. I love how they use long basmati rice as well, which really highlights the Indian part of Hakka cuisine. The best thing about it is that it's very affordable (under $15 in May 2024) and the serving size is so generous! I had to split my meal up into two portions just because there was so much food. I got the jerk chicken poutine with my order and its going to be my new guilty pleasure. The jerk pieces are so big and generous, and the fries taste fresh and crisp despite being soaked with jerk gravy. One thing to note is that I ordered delivery because I was too scared to walk past the sketchy park in the area, but I hope to come in person and support them one day.

Not a dine in place. But if u like spicy Indian Nepalese food, do not miss this place. Ask chef Kola to customize your food. He will be more than happy to do so.

This place is incredible! I came all the way from California which has tons of ethnic foods but I haven’t had anything like this. The bbq jerk poutine 😮‍💨 is one of the best foods I’ve ever tasted. I will be dreaming of that meal forever. The Shanghai noodles extra spicy were great, just the right amount of spice. We are driving from Sherbrooke Quebec to Toronto to have this meal one more time before we leave. If you haven’t tried this place yet you need to!

Some of the best Jerk in the city and solid Hakka! A combination you don't normally see (maybe ever), but they definitely deliver on both cuisines! Seems like the old restaurant that was here, Jerk Paradise, reopened and started serving Hakka. The jerk chicken and jerk poutine are just how I remembered it from the previous restaurant - tender, well seasoned, and their Jerk poutine is the best I've ever had. I tried some of their Hakka dishes as well, and while it may not blow away an avid Hakka fan, it definitely hits the spot and satisfies the craving. Their entire menu is very reasonably priced, portions are excellent value, and flavour is on point. My go-to for jerk downtown and good option for Hakka.
