Do yourself a favor & go to Federick's. I bought 5 lunch specials from here for my work team as an end of the year holiday lunch & it was soooo bad. Everyone disliked the food and was very unhappy. Ended up throwing out the food as it was that bad. There was also hair on the chicken, which just topped it off. I called to let the store know, and his reply was that he would take care of me the next time I ordered . I advised him I would NOT be ordering from there ever again due to my experience, and he said ok, he would let the chef know. Lol. Not acceptable. The quality of the food was really bad and I will never be going back there ever again. I really wish I didn't spend close to 100$ on food that went straight to the garbage, my team & I would of been much happier with McDonald's or even Pizza Pizza. STAY AWAY!!!

Giving it a 2 star because they automatically charge around 10% gratuity. While I understand that they look out for their employees, you can’t determine what percentage the customers will pay for gratuity. Food was ok but I’ve had better Hakka. Portion was a lot and that’s the only positive I found for this place.

The food and flavour is good . The food portions were good .!the service was good . There are different various of food . It’s weird that they don’t offer hot water with lemon . The plates of food are shareable. 8/10

This is our go to restaurant while ordering Indian Style Chinese food in office. Recently, it was our first instance when we dined in and the food tasted even better when served hot. Service was super quick and our entire order was on the table in 10mins. Recommend lunch combos if going between 11am-3pm. Bombay Chicken, Chilli Garlic Chicken, Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles are usual go-to dishes. Have been eating from this restaurant since past 2years and it’s never disappointing. Highly recommended.

Markham is slowly becoming saturated with Hakka restaurants. The latest I've come across is Hakka Legend. Their menu is extensive with plenty of variety. For the classic and safe bet we tried their hakka chow main and chili chicken. Chili chicken was lovely, slightly Crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. Their noodles were flavorful, but the texture/shape resembled somewhat like spaghetti. Do note, I was disappointed that they do not include rice with any entrees, while other Hakka restaurants do offer it free of charge. This can pose as a deterrence as they will need to contend against Frederick's located in the next plaza over that's already got it loyal clientele.

This location really let me down... Sweet chicken and corn soup were very salty. Crispy Ginger Beef , Sweet Sour Chicken, Deep Fried Calamari all had a bitter taste, the oil they used must has been burned or using it for too many times. Deep fried calamari not only has bitter taste on the outer coating but calamari itself was completely bland. I will never come back to this location

This place is awesome. Best Hakka restaurant in Markham! The owner is very nice and friendly, and the staff are always great. We usually get pick up or delivery, but occasionally we do dine in. There are also of vegan options, and they allow customization to make it vegan.
