If you are craving Hakka, their lunch special is a passable choice. I ordered the chili chicken dry,and crispy beef, chicken was decent, shoulda listened to an earlier commenter; the crispy beef has nothing to do with crispy… very soggy….

What a shame to you low star reviewers. The food is excellent , tasty, savory and they have a steady following and repeaters. You need to know what you want. Don't like saucy than order dry, want fried rice or noodles instead of white? Than ask. I crave their food and so do so many other people. Always busy and always good. Worth the wait and worth the taste. The price is affordable and the food is delicious. Thank you Hakka 77 for the good eats.

Such a disappointment. We were looking for a replacement for our favourite crispy beef from Chung King and came across Hakka 77. The reviews were good and it wasn't too far so we thought we'd give it a shot. Overall, the meal was very disappointing. The Crispy Beef was not crispy and it was apparent it never was. It was mushy and fatty and had a terrible mouth feel. The flavour was also very non-descript. The kung pao chicken was similarly mushy, though the flavour was slightly better. The mixed vegetables were fine but too heavy on the sauce (we really wanted the green beans but they didn't have them). The Szechuan chicken Chow Mein was so orange I thought it was all shredded carrot and just tasted like spice, hardly any flavour, a few small pieces of chicken and the noodles were overcooked. The vegetable spring rolls (not pictured) were fine, not bad but not amazing. Passable at best. The highlight were the fried chicken wontons, those were delicious and I would order just those again. For what we got, the price was very high - with the cash discount of 10% we still paid over $70. There was also a container of rice in but we didn't order that and are unsure of if it was on the bill. They have a big dine-in restaurant area, but are doing only takeout and I suspect it's because they don't need to deal with onsite complaints about the food. They also don't have a working bathroom on site so be aware of that.

Extremely disappointed. We got: Crispy Beef- This dish was never crispy. Extremely soggy, almost no flavour. Imagine 3 day old leftovers that you heated up in the microwave. Kung Pao chicken-also very soggy but not as bad as the beef. Had OK flavour but the texture was very chewy, very unappealing. Fried chicken wontons-the only bright spot. Crispy, but little flavour to the meat, and not hot. Schezuan chicken chow mein-the only flavour is "spice". No actual taste to the dish. Mixed veggies-hard to screw this up so won't give them any credit for this, but even the broccoli here was overcooked. Even the white rice that I didn't order that they provided was extremely wet and sticky, almost to the point of being sushi rice. Wanna know why they haven't opened their dine in area after COVID? Because they would have a never ending line of complaining customers in the restaurant refusing to pay for their meals.

We have ordered during lunch time 4 orders ~$10 after tax each Each on is good to make you full It is halal as they confirmed The most delicious dishes are Manchurian chicken and Chili chicken. We didn’t like the taste of the soup side, but the kids liked the vegetable spring rolls side. All in all the food was good and ready for pickup in 10mins. It is so sad that they are understaffed so they do not offer a dine in. Hopefully soon we try the noodles!

Located in a small plaza on the NW corner of Hwy 404 and 7, this little place is a hidden gem. Regrettably easy to miss, but they have really great Hakka cuisine. The restaurant is not fancy and the portions are not like some of the other places I have visited, however they more than make up for it with their freshness, quality, consistency and great service. I always order their Masala chicken as an appetizer with chicken corn soup and then go for a Chicken Cantonese noodle finished off with a fried banana ice cream dessert. They are reasonably priced and also have a variety if thai dishes on the menu. The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays, but I am not taking away any stars for that. They are great, and deserve a day off with their families. Keep it up guys!

$7.45 for lunch, Monday to Friday. Food quantity was generous. Steamed rice with a choice of gravy and soup/pop/spring roll. Food taste good. Place was clean. Service was fast. No credit card for below $10 orders.

I gave 5 stars because the food was so good. We ordered a 5 variety of dishes and all tasted great. Rice was good. Hakka Noodles were great. The spice in each dish was perfect not too heavy not too less. It is optimum. I must say for the price the food is delicious. Everything on the menu is worth for its price. I say this because we tried one from each menu subs. The hospitality from the waitress (don't know if I can call that) was really good. I also ate the fried banana dessert which was tasty as well. All in all must eat place. It is hidden in the cluster of lots within the huge building place. If it were slightly on the road it would ve been an instant hit. There is enough parking space without a problem.
