Love the Food and Service....excellent flavor and the value is great...the lady is so friendly who helps on the phone/counter....highly recommend!

I have been thinking about Thai food for awhile now so tonight was the night. Unfortunately the food that we picked up from Hai Thai just didn’t scratch that itch. We ordered a chicken pad Thai, peanut dumplings, Thai mixed vegetables, pineapple salad and lemongrass chicken. The pad Thai was grey and had nothing but a few small bits of chicken. There were no bean sprouts, egg , tofu or scallions. The noodles were over cooked and completely flavourless. There was a tsp. of chopped peanuts stuck in the corner of the container with a sliver of lime. The lemongrass chicken was drowning in a soupy brown gravy like sauce that tasted nothing like lemongrass. Thai mixed vegetables were mostly green peppers and cut so small - this was covered in a sticky flavourless sauce. The dumplings were steamed and overcooked and the filling was flavourless and I had a hard time identifying the protein. The best part of our order was the pineapple salad which turned out to be mostly mango but at least the ingredients were fresh and bright. We had to cover all of the hot food with hot sauce and our own lime to make it remotely palatable. I had done my research and read the reviews so I thought it would be good. Such a disappointment. I don’t know if we ordered on an off night or if they have new staff but I sadly won’t return. I should have made the trip to Brooklin.

Take out only at this time. Decided to try something new in the Whitby area and was not disappointed at all. I got their bangkok style pad Thai lunch special. Which turned out to be really good. Can't wait to go back to try more items.

Had pad Thai , spring rolls and chicken Tom yum soup. Can say very honestly it’s the worst ever Thai food we’ve ever had. The soup was a thick stodgy base with chicken pieces and bits of tomato in a most horrible way. The pad Thai was terrible. Not a single sign of anything other than grey stodgy noodles. Wish restaurants had money back. Threw out the food, so bad. Look at the photo of the so called Pad Thai. Looks so unappetizing. Tasted like very low class hospital food. Thing is, we’ve eaten here before and it wasn’t so bad. So something went really wrong there.

This may be the most flavor filled Thai food in Whitby / Oshawa. Every dish that I have tried was very tasty and fresh. Knowing the food is cooked fresh and tastes as good as it does keeps me coming back often. The lunch special is a super deal with the soup and spring roll included with the main course. This is my new go to lunch spot for clean tasting, flavourful food. (. . .) Months later, I have tried every item on their lunch specials menu, and enjoyed everything. I have some favourites like the spicy basil, lemon grass, and bangok fried rice.

$10.10 lunch special - pad Thai, wonton soup, and a spring roll. Absolutely marvelous. Definitely found my new go-to Thai place. The portion was so much bigger than I expected, especially for the price point; it took me 9 hours to finish my meal. The wonton soup tasted brilliant, so nicely completing the rest of the meal. I loved the flavouring of the soup, and the appearance was elegant, as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the wontons that never came apart, and the soup was perfectly flavoured to complement the pad Thai. So amazing I got a chicken pad Thai that felt loaded with protein. I adore crushed peanuts and, therefore, appreciated the texture balance between the softness of the pad Thai and the crunchiness of the peanuts. Once again, flavourful noodles in a large takeaway container that I would love to order again. Lastly, the spring roll brought me back to years and years ago when I would savour my Filipino friend's mother's homemade spring rolls. Perfectly crispy on the outside and exploding with flavour on the inside. SO amazing. I am 100% looking forward to visiting here again. I do highly recommend this place -- it seems like an undiscovered gem in the area. It deserves so much more attention. And for a $10 lunch special??? It's out of question a steal. You'd be daft to not try it out, at the very least. DEFINITELY pick up more spring rolls, though. SO DELICIOUS. Highkey craving them right now.

This place is simply amazing. We ordered the Red Thai Curry, Thai Basil Fried Rice, Lemongrass Beef and the bubble tea. It was simply amazing. The spice level is reasonable-just like how I like it. The place is also very clean. The only downsize is when you dine-in, it’s a bit cramped. Overall, great experience and 100% recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal food! I had a craving for Cashew chicken and found a perfect dish here. Their general Tao is a little sweet, but the owner added some spice for it and it was perfect. The dumplings were soft and delicious, the rice perfectly cooked and flavourful, and she even threw in a mango salad (that I plan on enjoying now). I will definitely be back!
