This is the first time I've ever written a review, but I feel like my experience at Habibz today warrants the effort. After eating here, I feel absolutely scammed. We purchased the large chicken platter and gorilla fries today, and what we received was completely different than what was advertised. For example, the gorilla fries were supposed to come with "shawarma chicken, layers of melted cheddar cheese, fried jalapenos, and grilled onions" as per their menu and what we received was cold fries with a half a slice of unmelted cheese and sauce. Not only was the plate subpar, there were no fried jalapenos or grilled onions. The chicken platter was incredibly small, and looked completely different than the pictures. Instead of a salad, I got shredded lettuce with a drizzle of sauce and no tomatoes as advertised. The service was terrible, and it took over 15 minutes for us to receive our order. We checked the reviews before coming and were excited to see such a highly rated place. We also read the negative reviews, and I had a gut feeling what we were going to get the same experience. While we were there, employees were promising Uber drivers a 5 star rating if they gave the restaurant one too. I realized that my intuition was correct and the reviews were indeed inflated. I think this might be the worst restaurant I have visited to date and my experience today has compelled me to write my first-ever review.

Hidden spot for getting some delectable fast food and cravings! Good options on the menu, good portion sized and fast service (it was also 9pm on a weekday so..). They are open until late so it's a plus plus for late night fixes! I'd go back for that. Modern decor design. Tried shawarma poutine (I'll skip that next time since I found it just ok) and angry bird burger which was good. Keep it up guys!

First time here! My wife wanted Poutine, was looking for halal and stumbled upon this Gem! Fayaz, was there and he is another Gem at this Gem. My wife and I both choose Gorilla Fries one with Crispy Chicken and one with minced beef. They were both off the charts 🔥 and way better than having a Poutine. Fayaz made mine for me and may God bless him because it was delicious and first time having something like that. Thank you for an amazing experience 🙏🏼

**DON’T GET FOOLED BY HIGH RATINGS** 1. While we were having our food, someone came with an iPod and asked how the food was, requesting us to scan and write a review. I told him the food was bad, but he looked at my friend and asked him to add a review. My friend said he would do it later, and the waiter left! This was so rude! As a customer, I was telling you that your food is not up to standard—the chicken on fries was dry and tasteless. But instead of addressing my complaint, you just walked away to get a 5-star review from someone else! 2. First, when we received our order, the chicken on fries was cold. I went to the reception and asked them to change it, but the food was still dry and tasteless, as you can see in the picture! It's worth noting that the burger was worth the $4, but the attitude we received was beyond rude. 3. Toilet smell bad and dirty,

This is a great place for an amazing yummy burger for the price you pay. I ordered the habibi burger, which was amazing. Everything was good till we realized the order we put in took 30 minutes plus, during lunchtime. There were only 2 people working during a busy lunch hour. Everyone who ordered was left frustrated due to the order being given out so late. People taking out food, delivery drivers, and people like me ordering in the restaurant. The owner needs to get the system right and hire more employees. It is best to call ahead or come early or after lunchtime.
