Gyubee Japanese Grill (Bloor)

For AYCE I absolutely love this kbbq place. I come here often with friends and the amount of food options is crazy. From beef to pork to chicken, to seafood to bibimbap and other snacks, to pumpkin soup (my favourite) and other veggies. I have nothing negative to say except that i am disappointed they replaced cold noodles with dan dan noodle. The new noodle is hard to chew and tasteless, obviously packaged noodle. Hopefully they bring the cold noodle back. This location is less busy than the other one near eaton, but still call ahead for reservation. Ps: miso beef brisket is 10/10

My family and I finally got to try out this very popular AYCE Japanese BBQ restaurant! We got a reservation as we were a group of 6 (they take reservations for parties of 6 or more). I highly recommend getting this if you can as lines quickly filled up the hallway from the main entrance and every table was filled! You get 2 hours to eat at about $40-50 CAD per person. It may seem pricey but the quality of the meats alone was worth it! They provide high quality cuts of all kinds, and the meat themselves are marinated in all manners of flavours such as miso, garlic, black pepper and much more. The cuts are all super tender and melt in your mouth. There is a great variety of marinades to keep things fresh! Their seafood was also all fresh. The squid was delicious and the octopus in the Takoyaki was tender and just the right amount of chewiness. The sides dishes such as the pineapple, Butter Corn and rice all complimented the meats and seafood nicely. The staff here are hardworking, attentive and kind. They always brought our next orders of food we would request promptly! We got Crème Brûlées and the soft serve of the day for our desserts. The Crème Brûlée was delicious and rich while the soft serve (which was Ube-flavoured) was so refreshing. You can have as much as you like of everything. I’d definitely come back to Gyubee for another extravagant AYCE experience!

Really enjoyed this place. They are crazy fast getting you seated and though the wait looks daunting it goes by quick. The staff were super friendly and made sure the food kept coming. We tried a bunch of seafood, and a mix of steaks and kalbi’s. Everything was great. Dont sleep on any of the briskets or the miso steak Watch out for anything that comes in the foil dishes, they take longer to cook and take up a bunch of room on the grill. Some of them were really good, but space and time was an issue. Also the only time we didn’t really enjoy was the salmon. It came tinned and didn’t cook as nicely as grilled items.

Welcome to my favorite restaurant in Toronto!!!! Japanese-Korean grill is a great place with a cook-your-own-food technique. It has unlimited food, drinks and dessert options with a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes. I absolutely LOVE this place. I especially love the soy sauce-sweet meat options. The bibimbap is amazing when I tried it I thought I wouldn't like it because I'm not really a person with eggs but I loved it I think everyone should try it😂 and my biggest favorite is ENOKİ MUSHROOM they changed the mushroom option a few months ago and it really upset me because I don't like other mushrooms that much. It's a place where you can eat and hear, worth every penny of your money. The staff is very fast REALLY FAST and polite. Thanks for everything guys🩷 Suggestion for customers: For those who have parking problems, there is a green park a few streets behind and the price is quite ideal.

GREATEST BBQ EVER. I took my pals here for a birthday night out and it was my best decision yet. We enjoyed a hearty meal filled with delicious meats that were rich, juicy, and easy to eat. The takoyaki was absolutely amazing, soft yet still tangy and tasty. Afterwards, we enjoyed a few delectable desserts like the crème brûlée or the light and fluffy tangerine pudding. The staff can be a bit hard to get a hold of since they’re quite busy, but are still helpful as any other server. The seating is also nice and not too squished as there’s a divider in between the other tables. Overall, Gyubee’s is a fantastic place and although it may seem pricey, you get two hours and can eat as much good food as you want.

I have visited other branches of this restaurant but the quality of the meat in this one is much worse! I could say that drinks and takoyaki taste the same. We are quite frequent customers of another branch so we know very well the amounts we normally eat, but here the meat had so much fat that we had stomach pain after eating, and they had to change the grill more than 3 times (when normally they do it at most once). Due to the position of the seats, you feel much less privacy, and it is annoying how many times people pass so close to your food! The service is much slower than in other branches, so although we ordered quite a few dishes when we arrived, we went about 10 minutes without eating because the next order did not arrive and no one came to ask if we needed anything. Finally, I saw that they put the order tickets on the food! which I definitely cannot consider hygienic!

*Food* I am always hesitant when it comes to 'all you can eat' restaurants, but this place was out of this world. We tried all the beef options, and ALL were so good that we had to reorder 3 or 4 times. The pork options were also amazing. My favorite pick was the miso beef brisket, along with the bibimbap. Super tasty! I'd give a 10/10 for everything i tried, i tried everything except the chicken there. *Service* Staff is super friendly and welcoming, they're fast and they're always wearing a smile. I'd definitely try the place again. *Atmosphere* The place is ALWAYS full, so you might have to wait in line. Make sure You're pretty hungry before you go there. Also, the price is so reasonable, and the food is worth every penny we paid.
