Gus Tacos

Absolutely disgusted with the greedy direction that this restaurant is taking. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and slowly witnessing the degradation that it is suffering, it is actually sad that what once was a great option for Mexican food now has become this greedy parody. One of the most important things on Mexican food are the tortillas and the salsas, now the use frozen tortillas and worse now they charge extra for the salsa. Please as a Mexican I can promise you that there are dozens of places much much better and more ethical than this. Avoid this trap if possible

I ordered three carne asada tacos, one birria burrito, and chips with guacamole for takeout via UberEats. When I picked up the taco, I noticed it was excessively oily, dripping oil when tilted. All three tacos were soaked in oil. Meanwhile, the burrito was both dry and greasy, and the guacamole was ice cold making the entire order inedible. I usually order from the Augusta location without any issues, but I thought this location might deliver faster. I definitely won’t order from here again.

I used to love this place when it was on Gladstone, but since moving to Bloor the quality has taken a nose dive. Today I received an oil soaked blob. Very disappointing, this used to be the spot. SMH.

Driving on bloor in so much traffic , decided to stop and try some food at Gus tacos. First time and the food was great!! New tacos spot for me and my child. We loved it. Food was good. We also tried the Jamaica drink and it was super delish. We devoured it (pics are mostly the aftermath) will repeat

One of the most acceptable places for basic mexican tacos, burritos, and tortas. The meats are flavourful and usually seasoned just the right way. The staff is very friendly. I would just suggest they clean the tables after customers leave, because it's unpleasant to sit down to eat at a dirty table smeared with taco grease and condiments. Great place for take-away as well or to order delivery on your favourite app.

First time here and it was okay an experience. The ingredients were fresh but there was not much flavor in the tacos overall. Staff seemed nice.

The tacos was delicious. Same as the original location as i remembered. Staff was vẻy friendly and service was super fast even though i came on a busy day.
