Gus Tacos

Took a family foodie adventure over to the location on Browns line for lunch and it was delicious! I had the al pastor & birria tacos. The meats were juicy, savory, and cooked to perfection, full of flavor. Oh, and make sure to get the hot salsa! It really took the taco to a whole other level. The service here was top class, quick and very friendly. If you're close by and craving tacos, do your taste buds a favor and stop in!!!

I moved to this area over a year now and never had a chance to try and I finally did. Now I regret not trying this place sooner! I tried the barbacoa, birria and pastor tacos with the mild green salsa and it was bomb! They do not cheap out on the meat which was a pleasant surprise that a taco place serve food just like in their blow up photos. Birria was my fav if you like more gamy meat as I think it's made of lamb meat, followed by pastor. Very clean restaurant too and the place was huge with lots of seating space which was deceiving if you're just looking at the storefront from the street. Will be back here every single week now and try their other menu items.

Great place for tacos and quesadillas. We had the Birria and chicken and the Birria is a must try. The meat was very tender and the quesadilla was grilled with cheese and the sauce was great too. The two meals combined were $28 total which is a great price for lunch or dinner.

I’ve been to Gus and enjoyed their tacos but lately it has been missing the mark. Picked up some Barbacoa burritos and they were overloaded with guacamole that we had to throw them out after a couple bites. Was pretty disappointed and wondering if the quality is no longer as good

I recently tried Gus Tacos and was quite impressed with their offerings. We ordered the chicken and steak burritos, which were decent but could have used a bit more sauce for added flavor. The tacos, however, were a highlight—well-seasoned and balanced perfectly. Additionally, the prices are quite fair, especially given the generous portions. Overall, Gus Tacos is worth a visit, particularly if you’re a taco enthusiast looking for good value.

Most often I get disappointed when I go out to eat. Not this time, the food fantastic, D the staff, excellent customer service, very helpful with ordering as this was our first time. Music and atmosphere is upbeat and the Latin vibes added to the great time we had. We ordered 2 tacos each, just out of greediness, we ordered another one each. Very tasty. Loved it. We will be back very soon.

A chain as I’ve seen other locations ordered to go took to the park to eat. I’d say could train the staff better as the food is not how true Mexican cuisine should be. Had the birra with the banana pepper green sauce chips and guacamole $8 not enough love in it to excite my flavour palette…

First time trying the Etobicoke location! There’s parking out front but somewhat limited - plenty of seating inside. Had the barbacoa tacos, pastor tacos, and birria quesadilla. All were 10/10 delicious. Great prices too. Closest thing to Mexican street tacos!!
