I find it difficult to be surprised by service in this era of online and kiosk ordering but this place really has some of the best service i have seen in years. The lovely young man Brian serving us today was very attentive towards us, overwhelmingly patient when explaining how to order the skewers and sides when we did not understand, and took every measure to make sure we were comfortable after a long day. He was so sweet and accommodating of our situation, truly a wonderful experience. The food came quickly, was very tasty, atmosphere was cute and cosy, really could not ask for more.

Cozy spot, feels snug. Getting a combo gives you a great variety, definitely get the beef options. And the service is quick, friendly, and they're always checking in on you. Don't forget the free little side dishes, the glass noodles are SOLID. Definitely a cute and fun spot, with good food options.

Gui Gui Korean skewer BBQ will give you a very unique experience. They have a semi automatic skewer BBQ on your table. The skewer will rotate by itself to give a balance cooking. It is fun for the kids as they watch it cooking infront of them They have a family combo on their menu which I think is the best value if you have 4 or more people. Food tastes great and everything come out very fast . Table is a little small for all the food to fit on the table but is not too bad We came on a Friday night around 7:00pm. We waited around 25 mins for our table so it is not bad. Services are great during our visit. Parking can be a challenge here on young street. They do have a small free parking lot at the back of their restaurant so we did manage to find a spot their during my visit Overall experience is great.

The skewered meat was marinated but the portion is indeed smaller than expected. I will stick to ordering meat and grill it the conventional way next time. The cold noodle soup was refreshing and delicious. And I enjoyed the sides that came with the skewered set. The soup was piping hot when served and I appreciated that it was served hot. Having a bowl of hot soup is so satisfying with the meal. It was still a fun experience for us to see the skewered meat rotate on the grill automatically. Thumbs up for the fast service and friendly wait staff.

We recently celebrated my cousin's birthday at Gui Gui Skewers, as she loves Korean BBQ, and it was an excellent choice! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The service was outstanding, and the food came out promptly, which was great for our hungry group. The staff's portion suggestions were spot on, ensuring we had just the right amount for our group of 16 without any waste. Our party was comfortably accommodated with three tables close to each other, allowing us to enjoy each other's company while savoring the delicious food. The atmosphere at Gui Gui Skewers was lively and welcoming, perfect for a celebration. The staff was attentive and friendly, frequently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that the grills were always well-stocked and managed. The variety of skewers and other BBQ options available were impressive, and everything we tried was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, making the meal truly memorable. Overall, Gui Gui Skewers is a fantastic spot for a group celebration or anyone who loves Korean BBQ. We had a blast and will definitely be returning. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere, Gui Gui Skewers should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended for both small gatherings and large parties alike!

**Rating: ★☆☆☆☆** Finding this restaurant was quite a challenge, but there's a private parking lot nearby which is convenient. The interior is nicely decorated, giving off a genuine Korean BBQ vibe. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. **Food:** The food quality is abysmal. The meat was of very poor quality, both in terms of freshness and quantity. Each skewer had only 4-5 tiny pieces of meat, but the prices were exorbitantly high. This is Toronto, not Seoul; there's no need to price dishes as if they were in a high-end Korean city. The meat tasted stale, and although the grilling method was novel, it led to the meat burning easily. The seasoning was quite ordinary, just supermarket Korean BBQ sauce. A "double" set costs $98 and includes a fried rice, a pancake, and 32 tiny meat skewers. **Service:** The service was atrocious. The male manager at the door exhibited what I can only describe as racial discrimination. Despite all of us being Asian, he was notably rude to Chinese guests, practically throwing the dishes onto our table. We brought our own bubble tea but didn't use straws, and they tried to confiscate it. Is this acceptable for a restaurant in 2024? **Environment:** The restaurant lacked air conditioning, making it unbearably hot. After just half an hour, I was drenched in sweat. Toronto has far better Korean BBQ options. I won't be returning to Gui Gui Korea bbq anymore

The meal was delicious and the staff was welcoming. It's an ideal place to hang out with friends because all you have to do is place the skewers on the automatic machine, and once they're cooked, you can enjoy them. However, it was quite hot inside while we were eating.
