Grumpy Gramma's

We saw a post on Facebook saying buy one combo get another of equal or lesser value free. No where did it say you had to mention it when ordering. I did say it, though. Apparently, the teen at front was on his first time up front taking orders, and he didn't hear me. When I asked the lady (not gramma but had blonde long hair) was kinda snippy and said you had to mention it or you wouldn't get it and seemed hesitant to give me back money when I said I had mentioned it. She said he was young and I had to be louder. I really wanted to love grumpy grammas cause I have friends who rave about it all the time. Our pizza rolls weren't fully cooked through, dough was raw. I asked for some pickles and ketchup. My bun was drenched in pickle juice. Now, I love pickles so for me to say something about it, it wasn't alright. It made my burger sour/tangy.

The food was terrible. Pricing is terrible. Staff stay true to the Grumpy name. Burgers - have little to no taste and way over cooked. Both my wife and I had tummy issues and remained close to a washroom for a couple of hours after only a few bites, but I could not finish this food. Some fries were cooked, and some were not. I have 3 kids that devour any chicken they eat except from here. It, too, was overcooked to the point that it was not edible. Had to go get them pizza so they could eat. Would never go back here. We were just visiting the area for the day, but we would definitely not go back here.

This was our first time eating here and we will be regulars. We had eaten some sushi earlier so we shared a deep fried Big Mack with fries. The fries were great and the Big Mack was delicious, far better than any Big Mac I've ever had(probably only had 3). Big portions, good prices and friendly service. I can't wait to try a donair(I've eaten many late night drunken donairs in Halifax).

Delicious! Recommend going on grilled cheese day. The Big Mac grilled cheese was ginormous and delicious. My boyfriend had the jalapeño popper one and ate it all so quick. There were no leftovers. Also recommend upgrading the fry to a poutine. So much gravy and cheese! 🥰 We will be back!

EVERYTHING is great. Burgers, hot dogs, donairs. Fries delicious. Staff amazing. Donair was delicious with a bit of heat. Meaty and fries with gravey. Always, a large portion. I can go pass out now, full and 😊 😆 🤣 😂

incredible place, I highly recommend the children's menu burger it comes with burger, fries, juice box or water and a treat (gummies or bear paw) for $8 it is a great deal, and the family poutine is tasty, they are generous on the gravy and cheese curds and thats always my favourite! delicious and incredible portions

Came to Welland to pick something up and check out the canal. Was recommended this place. And oh boy do they deliver! I got the Meanie burger fries and a drink plus a kids burger for my dogs. The kids burger is probably a regular burger at golden arches. My burger was sooo good. Its crispy tasty spicy and flavourful! The sauce is sooo good. The fries were plenty and perfectly cooked. And the staff was really nice :) I highly recommend this place!!

Lovely small food truck located next to a gas station and some big box stores! The owners and staff here are wonderful people. Ordered a newfie poutine and added cheese curds to it and it was super filling and satisfying!
