Grillies ( Highway 7 - Markham)

First time trying and definitely won’t be the last. I was craving a cheeseburger and the pictures looked good so decided to try this place. It was absolutely delicious and hit the spot and for only $6.99? Amazing. Burger was so satisfying, patty wasn’t dry and that meld of sweet BBQ and secret sauce is delicious. Upgraded to a combo but not sure that was worth it. Fries were decent but not something I’d get again, a little bit dry and could’ve been better seasoned - maybe I’ll try the onion rings next time. If they had the Cavendish fries that you get at Costco, this meal would’ve been 10s across the board. Also got the rice bowl which was also very yummy and flavourful but not sure if it was worth the price point of $12.49 for the size. That said, it’s rare to find prices like these for such tasty food so I’m not complaining here. Also if you order from the kiosk, you get a free drink which is a nice touch. Interior is pretty small and has seating for about 16 people ish. Parking around is also pretty small but adequate if not super busy.

Ask yourself, why do you eat at a restaurant. Reason #1 for the food, and this unassuming small restaurant has one of the best burgers in Markham. And it's open 24 hours to boot. We found this by chance looking for some street meat, but this one with a covered roof and walls was even better. Try the cheese burger with the secret sauce and sweet BBQ taste. It totally challenges and beats Hero Burger which is now my second favorite burger place.

I picked up my order and no cheese on any taco even though i ordered extra cheese on all 3 tacos for $1 each taco. I called the place and they said they would delivery a new order with cheese this time. I had to order a drink from Fantuan plus pay for delivery. I received my second order but the drink I paid for I didn't receive. There was maybe 10 strands of cheese on each of the 3 new tacos.....that's EXTRA CHEESE.....WOW. I will never order again.

Today is the first time we visited Grillies and we are truly impressed. The fact that it is open 24/7 sets it apart from other establishments in the area, providing a convenient dining option at any time of the day or night. During my visit, I was impressed by the efficiency and patience of the staff. One of the standout features of Grillies is its unbeatably economic prices without compromising on quality. I have tried their burgers and burritos, and I must say that each one exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich and satisfying, surpassing those of typical fast-food chains in the area.

Great spot for some lowkey good eats. They have everything you would need on a fast food menu, but at a leveled up quality! Tacos, chicken burgers, burgers, fries, and so much more, a taste for everyone I got the double cheeseburger and so good! First off surprised it came out smash style and secondly, the taste was so soft and juicy. The other great thing is creating your own burger and adding the toppings you want Everything made to order so you know you’re getting it fresh! Service was quick and the dining room is nice as it’s exactly the same look and feel of the old Korean restaurant that was in its spot Great job overall!

Ordered takeout from grillies last night and I would definitely be coming back in the near future! The day before I went with my friends and only tried a bit of what my friend got and had to come back the following night! Had the soft tortilla beef tacos, chicken tacos with the hard shell and the cheese fries. Everything was also very reasonably priced. Will come back soon!
