Grillies (Dundas & Jarvis)

Grillies was a last minute find for breakfast food while waiting for the shops to open. The experience as a whole was pleasant and worth our time. The staff were friendly and patient (especially for myself who has a hard time making a decision on what to eat). The breakfast bowls were amazing too. I will definitely be coming here again on any future trips to the city.

Amazing late night destination for snacks and meals. Food has always tasted fresh and good. Staff are nice and friendly if you are polite and respectful. Recommend takeout as the place is relatively small and gets a wild crowd at times. Ordered almost every item on the menu and the shredded beef sandwiches/bowls are one of the best. Cant go wrong with any of the burgers.

I visited Grillies (Dundas & Jarvis) at around 7 in the morning. The restaurant was not busy, and I was the only customer at the time. I ordered a chicken burrito. The staff was extremely polite and understanding. The service was impressively fast, taking only about 7-8 minutes to prepare my order. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this place for its prompt service and courteous staff.

Tasty and affordable ground beef tacos. But subpar poutine, cheap gravy and cold cheese curds. The food didn’t sit well after an hour 🥴🧻

Despite the mediocre service, subpar dining area, and sketchy location, the beef tacos were surprisingly delicious. They were full of flavour and had plenty of toppings. However, the poutine was disappointing as it lacked flavour and some of the cheese curds were still ice cold.

Amazing food , amazing quality and amazing staff. We were served by Chandan who was super kind and generous . Food was top quality with very affordable price. Totally recommended 👍

Absolute steal for your money. The burgers are top 5 in the city for less than $10 each. All of the employees are so nice and hard working. Khushi, Sanish, Vishal are incredible people and definitely deserve raises. They catered to my every need and I’m so relieved every time I see them. I’ve seen them able to handle a rush and get every order perfect. On top of that they made great conversation and made the whole experience one worth telling others about. 12/10 definitely recommend. I’m here at LEAST once every week - if not for the great food, but the amazing customer service. Plus, the music is always on point. The place itself is always clean and the orders are dished out QUICK. Thank you grillies for always being there for me (open 24hrs).

I ordered a double cheese burger with sweet BBQ, guacamole, fried egg, with hot sauce. The burger was 🔥 honestly might be top 3 smash burgers in the city. I was so surprised that the burger was that good. However, they definitely didn't put hot sauce on my burger or it was very mild because I could not taste even a hint of spice. I also got fries with my order and it was meh, the fries are definitely not worth the price. My problem with the restaurant is that they prioritize the Uber/door dash orders. It was difficult to even order my food. Then they told me it would be a 25 minute to 30 minutes wait to get my food. There was 2 people ahead of me in line and no one else in the restaurant except for a couple of Uber eats/ door dash drivers. I can't even imagine how long the wait would be if I had come during a busier hour. The washroom was out of order as well during my visit. The burger was over $20 due to my additions of the guacamole and fried egg. The $3.99 for a can of Canada dry is robbery don't bother getting it.
