Great massive cheese burger - well made , good ingredients. Very friendly efficient service . The Philly cheese sandwich is as the best and definitely worth coming just for this . Also huge . I think every was very good very big , maybe too big. It was pretty expensive for lunch for two people but it was huge and maybe too much for two people. French fries were top notch

My husband and I ate at Grill Gate a couple of nights ago. My husband ordered the pulled beef sandwich, and I ordered the veggie sandwich. The sandwiches were good, not great. Sloppy to eat, so must use a fork; and, sadly, the filling is one flavour/texture. What shocked me the most: price of french fries ($8.99!)... and when I asked about having a side order of rice? $5.00! Even a "combo" with fries and a can of pop is $6.99. Considering the cost of potatoes, rice and cans of pop, the 1,000+% mark-up is insulting. Not sure I'll return since there are countless other sandwich and burger shops with more reasonable combo deals.

Ordered the eggplant mushroom cheeseburger. Thick filling patty. I received bit of a lack of variety of flavors in the patty, just mostly salty without hints of sweetness. Perhaps it was more natural. I may be used to onion sweetening my burger. Excess of salt in the eggplant. Eggplant is normally sweet so this just wasn't my preference. The patty was thick and filling. Ordered at the counter up front so I didn't tip, plus they didn't bring us glasses of water later so I thought it was self serve. However, they brought the meals to our table and cleaned up afterwards so it seemed like I should have paid some sort of tip earlier. The prices are on the higher side with most burgers costing $20 after tax. Service experiences like this make tipping expectations ambiguous. Atmosphere was casual, lighting a bit on the dim side. I'd be willing to eat here again, but I'd only recommend it if the company I was with wanted to eat a non fast food burger in a hurry and I was in the area.

One of the best burger place you can find in town with creative menu options. You should definitely try sunny side up cheese burger and spicy cheese burger. Burger with eggplant is also so good.

I had a spicy mushroom cheeseburger combo with fries which was amazingggg !! I guess its one of the best burgers Ive had here in toronto so far 🫠🫠 love that so much ! also the staff was so kind & friendly. Mrs Sedi is the best chef evee 🫠I had so many requests to personalize my burger & she kindly did it for me ! Thank you so much !❤️

Saw the good review so went to try this location out. The portion was good but I would say everything was a little bit too greasy for me. The fries I got (the side and the poutine) were way too oily and tasted really like Costco fries from their food court but 10x more greasy. The burger was alright but I would recommend ordering salad as a side because there’s no green in the burger I ordered. Overall okay, not too good given their price.

Was working nearby and saw that this place had good reviews. Ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich…. And wow are the portions HUGE! As you can see from the picture they definitely give you your moneys worth. Food was tasty and quick service. Next time I’ll most likely order something smaller for lunch but if you are hungry for lunch then you can’t go wrong ordering here.

We recently visited Grill Gate and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the cheeseburger and the Philly steak Caesar salad, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Not only was the burger impressively large, but the salad was equally satisfying. The coated fries were crispy and delicious,you should taste it, While the prices are a bit higher compared to other burger joints, the portions definitely make it worth the expense. Grill Gate has easily made it into my top three burger spots, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. It's no wonder they have such a high rating on Google Maps
