Greek Market Chicken

Take out only, outdoor patio wasn’t open due to the time of year, so we went to the Greek Market beside it. However, you could only eat on the heated patio, not indoors. Chicken Gyro - 3.5/5 - portion was on the smaller side, but they didn’t spread the tzatziki sauce very well (it all pooled on the bottom). Fries looked like they had a red spice sprinkled on it, but there was no taste. Saving grace is the chicken was well seasoned and wrap was soft. Dill Salad - fresh!

We have happily ordered from this location for our family a handful of times in the past. However, the most recent time, the dill salad had a strange, unpleasant crunch to it. We surmised it may have been poppy seeds in the dressing, or something. But because we had never experienced this with their salad before, and the crunch felt so sandy, we kept investigating and tried the salad components without the dressing. We discovered that the chopped dill or scallions were the culprit, but because they were finely chopped you wouldn't have been able to detect the sand at first glance. To be clear, the crunchiness was not from the dill stems/ribs, it was an unmistakable sandy crunchy feeling. We were shocked that a component of their signature salad was served without being washed. It's too bad, because their potatoes, chicken and skewers are quite good. But now I can't trust the cleanliness of this establishment's kitchen.

We went for takeout regularly and the last time was august 2024, today October 25 we decided to get our go to order, chicken gyro, portion size was dramatically reduced, pita bread is about half the size as before, chicken was minimal, but loaded with fries, only thing that wasnt reduced was the price. It is still a hefty $11 for this tiny wrap. Two of these ended up being about $25. It was great while it lasted, I no longer recommend this place. You will get noticeably smaller portions.

I love gmc, i think the chicken gyro is really good, i usually get extra tzatziki and no tomatoes. the dinners are solid but i recommend the gyros and the fries are tgood the medallion fries or whatnot aregood, also the owners replies to the one star reviews are super funny keep it up!

Went in for an early lunch today. I didn't get much of a greeting and was a little weary as my meal (Gyro Plate) came to $19. But after only waiting 3 for 4 minutes, I was handed my bag, and I was off. When I went to eat, I was genuinely surprised how heavy and how much food it was. The food was amazing, I truly enjoyed everything. If I had to pick something into critique, I'd ask for the red onions to be cut up a bit more, and there were a couple of dry pieces. Otherwise, this place is a hidden gem and would return anytime.

Finally found my favourite gyros and pork souvlaki place.i don’t mind the 15mins drive just to grab my fave food. Very authentic! I love to explore more of the food they offering!will definitely come back! It’s worth the drive and the price! ❤️❤️

We got two Gyros and one Greek Fries. Food was great. So good we finished the Gyros before I thought to take a photo lol. Tzatziki was a bit thin but had a great flavour.

The Dill Salad was quite lovely. I had that and Chicken on the side. I would add a sauce for that next time. Although it was flavourful. The staff were efficient and friendly! Not a bad stop for take out lunch on the go! But they have a lovely patio too!
