Ordered chole bhature today 3pm for takeout. Bhatura was undercooked looking white and could taste raw dough. Call them and met with a rude response. Never again !

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TORONTO ALERT!! The lady who served us was very rude and disrespectful in all possible aspects. She doesn’t know how to treat customers. We had to leave restaurant without even eating food. I would not recommend this restaurant (Govardhan Thai - Thornhill) to anyone, Scarborough location is much better in terms of customer service.

For Gujarati food, this is their second outlet after Scarborough. One visit is essential thereafter as you prefer. Rates vary for weekdays and weekends. Enjoy.

Very reasonable priced. Home made delicious food. Auntie who owns the place is very nice. The food is freshly cooked and quantity is large, I was full from their take out menu which is only $10. Overall, an amazing find for home cooked Indian food.

Decided to drop in for Thal. Lady wasn’t helpful from the very moment I stepped into the place as I was asking questions because it was my first time there. Didn’t feel like she wanted my business. Wasn’t pleasant at all. She didn’t wash her hands when she was packing the take out food, touching the roti with her hands (not to mention she had long fingernails), no tongs/utensil used. I told her I was going to dine in but she packed my food in containers to go. Food was over cooked or maybe it was sitting too long on the steam table. I hope it wasn’t left overs from the previous day. Another review stated food was leftovers. That would be horrible. The food was not even warm. The worst part is I found a hair in the mixed vegetable. I had to throw out all the food. Disappointing. You can find great Thal food on islington and Albion with fresh naan or roti as you order your food. Unfortunately, this was not a great experience at all! I’m left hungry and dissatisfied with the customer service and food.

We went there straight from Niagara Falls, the food was too delicious and all the items on the menu were fresh and good however I felt that the Farshan (handvo and gota) was not that good. Service by Tejash Bhai and Dimple Ben was appreciated. He kept asking us if we wanted anything extra or not and that roti was so mouthwatering Thanks to Dimple Ben for making it so good. Overall good experience! Will come back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They sell leftover food! I tried 3 times take out and 2 times I had to throw everything in garbage as it was smelling really bad and tasted leftover. I complained but no response. Will never come here again!
