I have been eating at Gonoe for longer than I can remember. This is the most consistent sushi restaurant in Toronto. The Chefs skillfully prepare each dish and the service staff are friendly and attentive. I cannot think of a more welcoming restaurant in Toronto. If you love good food, service, and ambiance, Gonoe offers it all!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gonoe Sushi, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The small booths create such a cozy, intimate atmosphere — perfect for a relaxed meal with great company. I ordered A La Carte, The sushi was incredible, with each piece tasting fresh and expertly prepared. You can tell they use top-quality ingredients, and the flavors were spot-on. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was just right. It’s a bit tucked away, but definitely worth the visit if you’re craving delicious, authentic sushi in a warm, inviting setting. I can’t wait to go back!

First time visiting for dinner, it was a great experience. Waiters were very friendly! The sushi was very fresh and tasty. Also received a salmon dish on the house (service) which was nice.

I recently visited this sushi restaurant and enjoyed it. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere had a traditional Japanese feel. The service was good. I recommend it.

Service was great. When we walked in, we were given a private booth area. I also had specific instructions about my food and they did a fantastic job on that. They did come back to check in if the food was good.

A hidden gem of a restaurant, excellent quality food, lovely atmosphere, in a simple setting. Good for families, has private booths, and takeout is popular. Reservation is recommended as it does get busy. There are lots of other Sushi 🍣 places in the area, this restaurant's food tastes much better and has better service. I would definitely come here again! Dine-in for large groups is too small and recommend contacting them first. Limited parking available and is free.
