Gol's Lanzhou Noodle North York is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
"Gol’s Noodle originated from Lanzhou, China where we inherited the family secret recipe that was passed down generation by generation… In 2014, we brought our authentic Lanzhou hand-pulled beef noodle to Montreal, Canada. In 2018, we expanded our foot print to Waterloo, Ontario. Within only a few months of the grand opening, we became the busiest restaurants in the area. In 2019, we are honored to be invited by Oxford Property Management to open a new location in one of the major shopping malls in Canada – Square One shopping center. We are very grateful to be welcomed, loved and are ready to embrace more exciting opportunities in North America."

Food came very fast but was very disappointing. :( Beef soup noodles: big portions and amazing noodle texture, but it was so salty and had barely any taste. Squid: also nice texture, but the flavour wasn’t my favourite. Tofu: very dry and barely any flavour Overall the flavours were disappointing. This might be related to the fact that we chose the no spice options, but you can still make a flavourful dish with no spice.

Beef noodle soup was very taste and you can pick your hand pulled noodle thickness. We didn’t enjoy the BBQ squid - the spices were too strong and not very tasty. Service was excellent. Nice spot for a quick bite and tasty soup.

Good food, good portions. Got the regular size beef noodles and the lamb stir fry noodles for 2 people. we ended up taking the stir fry home for dinner. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. I also really like that you can have all the green onions and cilantro come separately, so you can add to taste. Same with the chili oil! Each table has its own jar of chili oil, so you can ask for non-spicy and just add to your liking.

This place is a gem for Chinese hand-pulled noodles! The noodles are super fresh and have that perfect chewy bite, and the broth? So flavorful it feels like a warm hug for your taste buds. The portions are generous enough to satisfy even the hungriest noodle lover, and the prices won’t break the bank. If you’re craving authentic Chinese noodles, this is the spot. Trust me, your stomach will thank you!

Honestly, I gave this place a 5 star because the service was amazing. The servers were very kind, patient and attentive. The food was decent. We ordered the beef noodles and it was delicious. We also ordered edamame and string fries, tasty as well. However, the BBQ portion of the food we did not really like. We felt the BBQ dishes were too paprika forward. A light dusting of the spices might do the BBQ dishes more justice. Also, the BBQ dishes pretty much tasted the same as it seemed they used the same marinade for all the dishes.

Cozy and modern place with free parking in the back. We ordered the large Lanzhou Hand Pulled Beef Noodle and the BBQ Cabbage. The cabbage was not too salty and perfectly seasoned for taste! Great Chinese BBQ flavour. The large noodle was HUGE! Definitely can feed at least 2 people. Great value and super tasty and spicy. They were also kind enough to add a little bit more soup for our take out. Excellent service. Will be back!

Service was amazing there was a short wait but we were seated as soon as possible. They constantly checked on our table and helped clear empty dishes. The broth is very flavourful and the chili oil adds extra depth to the broth. The noodles are hand pulled fresh to your liking (can choose noodle thickness/shape). The side dishes, especially the cucumber were tasty! Would definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious food! The noodle soup is incredible and packed with flavor. The meat, broth, and toppings are also top notch. Be aware that the "large" option truly is very big and generous -- I was super full!! The noodles themselves are also super high quality and you have a number to choose from, all fresh made by hand in the restaurant. The Dan Dan noodle dish was also very yummy and I've heard the skewers are also fantastic (only served for dinner).
