Goldies fast food

Got the Gold Standard. Patty was too crispy on the edges and too hard to bite. Couldn’t taste caramelized onions at all. Ranch fries were too salty. Worst part is they carry Pepsi over Coke. Hotties Smashburger still reigns supreme in town.

We ordered a Slushie Float (one of the only places downtown that do it!) A classic burger and tenders + fries. These were the best tenders we've EVER eaten. The fries were extremely fresh. And the burger was smashed perfectly. The customer service was amazing, all the staff said hi/acknowledged us, and they were personable, knowledgeable and were able to answer our questions. Cost is higher for the type of items (spent $38) but it is definitely worth every dollar. We'll be back and 100% recommend to anyone looking for elevated fast food!

The meat is delicious. Nice smash burger. I could eat 3 and still want more. Not because it isn't filling, the flavouring is on point. Those crispy bits on the edge. The fries were nice, crispy and fresh. Love that fountain pop too. Service is fast and efficient. The 3 guys do it all! Cook, clean, and serve. _______________________________________ October 25: new experience review. Did not eat due to technical difficulties. You all know the food is fire though... This is about customer service. 1/5.. and they only get a 1 for quick response time.. even if it was to just point the blame to me. To keep it short this business needs a serious reality check when it comes to customer service. Owner Joel does not respond to constructive criticism or feedback well. This has discouraged me as well as friends from St. Joe's, the Y and Jackson Square from returning. _______________________________________ October 26: owner Joel took the time to reach out personally this morning and make things right. Virtual Visa will not work due to the high percentage rate. I am very grateful for Joel following up because I love that hot honey chicken sandwich and the gold standard with jalepenos and I don't think I can live without. Stopped to check this place out and glad I did as I will be back to try their mains...burgers a d. Chicken...did have a Sunday treat that was great. They also offer take out. Second time here and burger and fries were great! A busy spot but fast service.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised! The tenders and fries were delicious, and the cheese sauce on the fries was so flavourful. The slushy float was the perfect ratio of ice cream to slushy. I will be back soon! I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

Unfortunately, not the best experience and probably won’t be coming back. The food was dry and the prices are expensive. I see the potential of having good tasting food but for the portion size and the cost, I’d probably go elsewhere. I ordered 2 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich, chili fries, and jalapeno fries. Each were dry in their own way. I also had to wait 40 mins for my food to be prepared. I tried calling 10 times that night but no answer. Their slushy float was delicious though.

Absolutely great food experience. If you're looking for a quality burger at a decent price then look no further than Goldie's. The smashburgers were super delicious and the accompanying sauces very flavourful. The krinkle cut fries were a nice touch and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The handmade chicken tenders were no slouch either. Handcrafted and cooked to perfection the hot honey sauce on the side was the perfect addition. We finished the meal off with a Goldie's sundae and I must say it was simply divine. Everything was on point. Not just a great concept is Goldie's but the execution is spot on as well. Sometimes the devil is in the details and this place has everything figured out. You can bet that there was plenty of research put in before opening this establishment and I can assure you that it has paid off. If you are concerned about parking there are plenty of metered spots on the adjacent streets and parking lots as well. Check this joint out and I promise that you will not be disappointed.
