Golden Palace Restaurant

I have been going there for at least 20 years and.have.had issues in past, but this is the last time. Ordered a week ago for 5 and rice was sticky rice not fried. Obviously not cooked right Have them another chance just now and no compensation for bad rice What a joke of an operation.

Golden Palace has been a staple in our family for decades. Thrilled to be back here last night. Not much has changed- the decor, the uniforms, and wait staff and of course, the amazing egg rolls and accompanying food! The sauce they create for the Cantonese chow mein is divine, as is their GP style chicken soo guy. One of the best honey garlic sauces (ribs), excellent chicken balls, and flavourful rice complimented by their aromatic soy sauce all blended to give us the incredible flavours we expect from Golden Palace. Long time family friend “Wayne” was our waiter- service was impeccable and his friendly demeanour is always appreciated. What can I say other than thank you for another great experience! See you again soon, Wayne! 🙏🏻👍🥃🍽️

ROACH in food. I’ve been eating here for the past three years. Today, I found a roach in my red sauce…saw something black and it looked odd. I saw legs and was disgusted. Threw away my entire food. I will never return.

I have never in my life seen such bad service like this, ordered from Uber eats and thank God for that because if not I wouldn’t get my money back. I ordered general Tao and got a different sauce, spring rolls are burnt really really bad, tried to eat it but had to stop from the taste of charcoal from hell. And cantonese chow mein noodles came burnt???? And smelling super charred, with all meats on it coming over cooked and dried. There was even garlic all over it. Completely inedible. I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant, and I’ve always tried my hardest to not waste food but all of this is going straight to the trash because it’s truly disgusting

Normally order from the Torbram location but Uber eats only had a deal with the Steeles Ave location. We ordered lemon chicken but got general Tao sauce instead . Also had chicken balls and egg rolls. Both were so burnt that they could not be eaten Would not be ordering from this location again

Ordered food Sun, Oct 29th for dinner. Food was delivered via UberEats. Worst experience. Terrible Terrible disgusting food. The quality was horrendously enedible. Burnt Chicken Wings, burnt spareribs. Burn eggrolls, stale hard rice * stale cold lemon chicken. Called the Steeles location to complain. $94.00 Order & nothing was touched. The male who answered only said what time did I place the order & I have to let UberEats know. No apologies, just sending out burnt food to customer. Will never order from this location. The one on Tobram is 10000 x better.

Ordered the Combo, was a good price & heard it being cooked up fresh in the back. Was very a authentic Chinese flavor, hot & fresh. I over ate, very generous portions of chicken (saw recent bad review) but wasn't case with ours. Will return..

Under cooked food, missing food from the order. It took nearly 4 hours for order to been ready. Never ordering there again. Every time I asked for an update on the status of the food, they'd go back to the kitchen and come back with no update, or they'd talk to another customer that just walked in. Would have given them 0 stars if I could..
