The fish is fresh , but could make a little effort to slice the sashimi in slices, then just chopping up the fish in random square chunks!!

Not sure how this place is still in business. I ordered before and was disappointed. Gave it another try - Fish wasn't fresh, the tempura shrimp in the maki tasted like it was fried in the same oil as their fish and chips. Maki wasn't even rolled properly. Even the ginger tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for years! How does that happen with pickled ginger?! Horrible quality for the price I paid. Do yourself a favor.. Don't try it.

Not amazing, but also not disappointed. The kids liked their crab rolls and after adding a bit more seasoning to the fries, they enjoyed those too. For the maki dinner, the spicy salmon tasted the best of the three. Owners are friendly, but they only take cash or debit. The fish was nice and light. It didn’t weigh me down like how I usually feel after eating battered fish. My wife only eats dynamites she wasn’t too impressed. It was just okay for her.

So happy to have stumbled across this place. Great little spot has parking easy to run in quickly pick something up and be on the go again. All food is freshly made. The sweet potato tempura Sushi was amazing. My daughter loves it. Definitely our new go to place for quick healthy food.

I got Haddock fish n chips. The fish was an old piece that was cooked strangely. Sent this photo to my friends and they laughed and said it looked like cardboard. Tasted like it too. Chips were also bad, soggy, and flavourless. All I could taste was oil.

Update: May 2022 Didn’t take pics, but wasn’t too happy with the quality of the sushi. The makis were ok. ——— I was skeptical at first as it’s not common to see a fish and chips place and sushi place but the sushi was ok! If there is one thing I would change is just the way the maki was made, it was a bit too big (which could be a good thing for those looking for quantity). I do love how generous they are and you can see that in the photos.

It's okay. Not as fresh as I want my chips and fish to be. The putside of the store doesn't look very appealing but the inside has enough space. They currently only offer take out due to covid. Hand sanitizers are available inside the store.

Fish and Chips is pretty standard fare - that comfort food that not only fills your belly, but also nourishes the soul. I ordered the halibut on a kaiser. If I return, I’d forgoe the bun and simply have the fish. The sandwich was lacking - perhaps because there was too much bun and a very lacklustre (prepackaged) tartar sauce. The fish itself was well portioned and tasty. The fries tasted as though they’d been reheated. The counter service was quick. The place itself could benefit from a general clean-up. There’s potential here - a little extra effort could go a long way.
