Hands down the best Mandi I have had in years! Double ka meeta took me back to Hyderabad. Must go place if you are craving for good Hyderabadi food.

I went to Golconda Restaurant after seeing some enticing Instagram reels, but my experience was far from what I expected. The service was downright terrible, and the entire meal was a series of letdowns. We waited for an hour just to receive Chicken 65, which was dry, overcooked, and served in a tiny portion. To make matters worse, many of the dishes we wanted to order were unavailable because they were prioritizing a catering order for 100 people. While I understand catering orders, that shouldn’t affect regular diners. Adding to our frustration, we had also ordered Marag soup, but after an hour, the server came to tell us it had spoiled during cooking and started to smell bad. She offered us mutton soup as a replacement, which we politely declined. The table next to us was left uncleaned for over an hour, adding to the sense of neglect. We were given a complimentary soda for the wait, but it was hardly enough to make up for the long delays and poor service. In the end, after waiting for so long with no reasonable explanation, we decided to leave, paying only for the Chicken 65. There was another couple with two kids waiting with us, and I’m not sure when they were finally served. Don't be fooled by the Instagram reels or glowing Google reviews—this place was a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Ordered the juicy Chicken mandi. It was tasty and nice. Quantity of rice was a bit low as per the price paid. But there was quality. Service was prompt and atmosphere was very welcoming. Will visit again to try other specialty dishes of Hyderabad.

I tried this place for the first time as we were referred by a friend. Started with corn cheese kebab as a starter followed by prawns koliwada. Being a Hyderabadi we can never miss out on Chicken 65 and rumali roti. It tasted quite good. We even ordered dahi papdi we have asked the lady if it's dahi papdi or puri she said it's papdi but it turned out to be dahi puri. The food justified the price but the service was back to back and we had to ask them to reheat the food. Overall a nice and decent experience. Highly recommended: Corn cheese kebab Prawns koliwada

I recently visited the newly opened Golconda in Scarborough with friends and tried Chicken 65 with Rumali roti, Prawns Koliwada, Chicken Tandoori Mandi, and Mutton Juicy Mandi. The food was a highlight, delivering authentic Mandi flavors that stood out as some of the best I’ve tried recently. However, there’s room for improvement. While the taste is excellent, the portion sizes for the meat quantity for the price felt underwhelming, making the dishes seem overpriced. Ambience-wise, there’s potential, but it could benefit from more thoughtful enhancements to create a better dining experience. Advice: either increase the meat portions or adjust the pricing to make it more value-for-money. You’re on the right track with the flavors, so keep up the good work, and best of luck with the improvements!

I ordered tandoori chicken and taste is extremely ultimate. Super! Super!! Super!!! Also I never seen this type of hygiene restaurant in entire Toronto. My friends gave me very very good feedback on this restaurant. So I visited today. Finally I found very good restaurant in entire Toronto and It’s real Hyderabadi taste.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Mandi! Their Haleem and Biryani are mouth-watering, and their Corn Cheese Kebab and Dahi Puri are truly divine. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delight. The ambiance is perfect for a family or friends and the new lighting adds a lovely touch. The real heroes, however, are the chefs - they truly bring the flavors of Hyderabad to life! I highly recommend Mandi to anyone craving authentic Hyderabadi cuisine. Came to Golconda on their grand opening, and it was an amazing experience! Ordered the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and Mandi, both packed with authentic flavors. The portion sizes were generous – the Mandi was perfect for two people, and it came with delicious in-house sauces that complemented the dish perfectly. The customer support really stood out. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued from the moment we walked in. The servers paid close attention to detail, ensuring everything was perfect. The ambiance is lovely and adds to the whole experience. Highly recommend Golconda for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!
