Gino's Pizza

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gino’s Pizza, and it was an amazing experience! The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of fresh toppings and gooey cheese. I rarely give one star but the service at this place deserves it. Oh, and their Pizza crust is chewy, overdone and dough is over processed. After eating just one slice, my jaw was in pain because of the bad crust.. guess they also forgot to season the pizza with some salt as it tasted bland.

ordered the 1/2 pound wing which according to the menu will provide 6-8 wings, i got the minimum 6 wings. the sauce (honey bbq) was weak in flavour. Nothing like the wing machine wings i remember growing up. the blue cheese dip had a bitter after taste to it.

"I recently tried out Gino’s pizza and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The pizza was incredibly delicious, with a perfect crust that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We use this Gino's very often and the owner is great, however we had a terrible experience this week. The whole place smelled like sewage backup, but we ordered anyway. First of all,the girl came out of the back and washed her hands too quickly. I wonder if she even did. Also, we ordered a pizza and a large panzo, the pizza tasted ok, however the panzo had a SEWER smell and taste. It was disgusting. We plan to never visit this establishment again.

Ordered the pepperoni and meat lovers slices. The meat lovers slice was good. The little sausage pieces are flavor packed. I found the slices to be a bit doughy and chewy at the crust end. But the experience with slices vs fresh out of the oven pie is very different. Tried with the cheddar habanero dip. A solid entry for the chain style pizzas. Price was average.

3.5 stars - Located in the Port Plaza @ Lakeport and Ontario Street. There is plenty of parking out front and a Beer store 100 ft away (if that is your beverage of choice) This is a chain store with a decent pie if you like the crust doughy. The sauce is a little on the tangy side with a generous coating of cheese. The pies are baked in a conveyer oven (don’t expect a well done undercarriage - not much crunch with your bite) The price is definitely a bargain and staff are plenty friendly.
