Gil's Fish & Chipperie

It seems that it's the same workers working at the restaurant adjacent to it on both sides so it had taken a while to take our order even though there was no one in line. My wife and I got the haddock and chips. The chips were the best part, the fish was flavorless, the breading was just falling off, not good at all. For the prices they were charging we had definitely expected better. The fact that it was in the food court it was in is why I would give it more than 2 stars. Would not recommend.

The fish sandwich is delicious. This place has the best food in the new food court. The fries are good too with very nice staff. Must try!

My rating will be nearly reached 4 stars if I orders Crispy fish-wish only. I added to my order shrimp and chips which was not good, looks they used old oil for frying , dark brownish color and so salty.

Even though we placed our order nine minutes before closing, Lilian was cordial and attentive in receiving our orders.The cuisine was tasty and satisfying. We are having dinner at Gil's for the first time.

Sooo yummy! Lots of available and clean seats in this food court. Its inside Eaton Centre’s new food hall and its very modern and has lots of new and interesting restaurants. I had the shrimp and chips and it was delicious. Also tried the potato salad and it was very flavourful and tasty.

Located inside the new Queen's Cross food hall. I may have set my expectations too high being in a new area that looked higher end than the downstairs food court. The fish and chips were good but I was hoping for a bit bigger fish for $19. I really like how simple the menu is. I'm willing to give other items a try next time.

Decent chips, below-average fish; however, the fries were the star of the dish. They were crispy and seasoned nicely. The fish was cooked well but bland. Additionally, the tartar sauce was tasteless.

This restaurant is located in Eaton Centre in a new food court that recently opened. The ambiance was nice with music and soft lighting. More of an upper scale food court from the looks of it. The cashier who took my order was pleasant. Food portion was a lot and served hot. I had ordered the Shrimp and Chips. Fries were good, but not so much for the shrimp. The shrimps were not deveined which was disappointing and unsavory. I would not order the shrimp again.
