Great local place. Terrific cafe for coffee, pastries and breakfast. Lunch in the summer out doors with live music, excellent food and, cold drinks or dinner with events happening weekends year ‘round. The owners and their staff serve up a great experience.

This place is a hidden gem, I was selfishly hesitant to post a great review because I want it to stay quaint and magnificent like it is, but I would be remiss not to give credit where it’s due. You know when you go to a good friends house? They are that friend, the one who always feeds you the best food from the heart? Keeps your drink full? You feel comfy and loved and totally relaxed at their home? Well that is what it’s like going to eat here. You can feel the love, care and heart and soul that goes into this food and everything about the place. The scallops were to die for, perfectly seared and seasoned, the sliders were flavourful and the m word that everyone hates. The ambience is top notch, I was concerned about being outside/inside a covered patio, I’m always cold, but I took my jacket off because I was nice and toasty. In a world full of crappy chain places and disappointing overpriced crap, be a Gilford Local Eatery.

We happened to find this place on our drive back to Toronto. Overall, good value for money. We ordered the turkey burger, corn on the cob, pulled pork poutine, and chicken fingers for my toddler. Would definitely return when we go up north again.

Nice ambiance and tasty food! The eatery has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal. However, be prepared for crowds and limited parking nearby. While the food is delicious, the portions could be a bit more generous. Overall, a great local spot worth checking out! #gilford #localeatery #goodfood #limitedparking

Went an had a burger with cheese an bacon an also a slushie. The burger was 10 out of 10 amazing! An the slushie was very good! Nice chill spot before launching the boats! Definitely going back if I'm in the area!

Was amazed by how good the food was here! Try the sourdough cheese sandwich with caramelized onions and jalapenos on it and oh my! The quesadillas were top notch and felt like I was eating at a Mexican food truck. The vibes of this place is so amazing, right by the lake and u can sit inside/outside based on the season. Outside seating and the play area is fun!

Beautiful dinner spot. The wine shop was an amazing experience after dinner. So knowledgeable and kind. It was our first visit here and I can absolutely say it’s our new summer spot. Can’t wait to bring our family and friends here
