General Tso's Kitchen

When I was in college dating my boyfriend at the time we always used to order here. It was deliciois, cheap and fast. Couldnt go wrong with chinese food. Our top picks were Lemon Chicken, Sweet n Sour chicken, General tso chicken, yeung chow fried rice, chow fun noodles and an eggplant dish. Be aware this place is mostly for take-out. They dont really have a dine in area.

I love authentic Cantonese food, but sometimes Nostalgia demands the Canadian Chinese Food specialties of my childhood. And Nobody does it any better than "The General". The Dinner for 2 is a tremendous value, huge portions of fried rice, light fresh chicken chop suey, meaty sweet & sour chicken balls, 8pc. deep fried crispy jar doo wings, and two perfect Toronto-style egg rolls. We always also have to order one of the gourmet specialties like HG ribs, Sesame Fried Shrimp, Mandarin Pork Chops, or their excellent Cantonese chow mein, all terrific. THE Best Canadianized Chinese food in North York, exactly what you expect it to be, and always arrives fresh and hot with lightning-fast delivery. Honestly, it's just great.

We ordered a couple of dishes for dinner. The food was hot, the vegetables were fresh and the portions of chicken and tofu were generous. The food was not overly salted or spiced which we like. We will order again.

My favourite Asian takeout in the neighbourhood. They are very kind, the food is great and delicious plus the waiting time is very short. Prices are better too compared to other restaurants. Hope they stay this way ✨️🩷

Just ordered from here from the first time and was thrilled to find a place open so late. The food arrived super fast and I really had high hopes! General tso's chicken was super vinegar-ey, the lo mein had ZERO flavour (plain noodles with some chicken and veg in them) and the other food was sub par. Service was amazing but the food did not live up to the expectations.

Amazing food, great service, always open, 10/10 wish I could get it for lunch too I sometimes buy it the day before. Such a great deal. You won’t be disappointed, very very good. If you want to know the secrets look in the wall they also have combo 5 a personal favourite

Once the king of general Taos chicken. They really lived up to their name. Their reign is coming to an end. The chicken does not have the same crunch and flavour like before. Its good if you’re craving Chinese food and nothing else is open, but if there are other options then go for them

I just spent $48.00 on 3 dishes and have to say the worst food I ve ever tried so far in my life. Do your self a favor and dont even think about supporting this place. Bad service tasteless food and frozen meat.
