Galata Türkish restaurant

It was my first time trying Doner and let me tell you, it was so good. The beef doner was extremely thinly sliced and had a really delicious nice char to the beef pieces. It came with rice and pickled vegetables as well as salad. Honestly my partner and I shared this plate and it was more than enough food. The fact that it came with all these side plates really made the portions filling. It's pretty good value for the amount of food you are getting and the doner was cooked very well. It's a great spot in the Danforth area!

We had lamb and donner, the donner was perfect, the lamb was good just had a little more fat than what it should be. The service such as deep, bread and pickles wher really good.

The food here doesn’t disappoint. Fresh tasty and massive portions. The baba ganoush was excellent smokey and creamy. All the sides were perfect. Service is lovely

8.7/10 This unassuming hole-in-the-wall spot in Greektown delivers on offering a delicious meal, despite its shortcomings due to its ambience. Food: Ocak basi special. The chicken skewer was immensely juicy and tender, perfectly cooked and flavourful! The adana kebab was well-seasoned but a little salty. Would have preferred more rice as a side. Service: The waitress who served us was very welcoming and attentive. The food came out hot and in a timely manner, too. Atmosphere: Could have better ventilation. A few of us were sweating as we were seated close to the cooking station.

Tried almost everything on the menu and it's all delicious, but the appetizer with bread is my absolute favorite! Never disappoints, great service and perfect flavors.

I loved the food. It's very tasty, and the portions are very good in size. The space is huge, which gives it a look of empty space. Maybe because the time that we went was not busy, but I still, I think they should work with a designer to renovate and decorate it. The service was really good.

food is absolutely delicious. i’m not a big rice pudding fan at all but there’s is to die for- so good. all the meat is super juicy and flavourful , veggies and sides always fresh. one thing i would say is that the servers are very inattentive. not keen on checking up on you / filling drinks/ taking away plates etc. but food is still good and they are nice
