I used to love this place and was excited to visit again before leaving Toronto, but the service was terrible. I tried to order fries as a side, but the server kept interrupting me, insisting “the order’s been made,” and assuming I was trying to change it. Our water glasses stayed empty, even though she made sure to refill the coffee cups. Strangely, she seemed more focused on having someone crack her back than actually providing good service, which was unprofessional. We had to ask for the bill several times, and when she noticed we didn’t leave a tip, she asked, “No tip on the card?” No, we tip based on the quality of service. Such a shame, one server ruined the entire experience and atmosphere. Time stamp: November 24, 2024 around 10am. However, there was a male server who made a great impression. He was very welcoming.

We came to Gabby's for lunch on Boxing Day. The server was friendly and attentive as we have two toddlers with us. The food was good, the Nashville chicken sandwich was more acidic than hot, but I'm not a fan of Frank's Red Hot.I highly recommend ordering the gravy (vegan based). This is a kids friendly restaurant and good for big groups.

Went here for dinner for the first time. Thoroughly disappointed. I ordered a burger and my wife got the fish and chips. The buger was decent, nothing special, but definitely on the small side considering the price point. Burger 6/10 The fish and chips was a disaster. When it first came the batter clearly wasn't fresh or made incorrectly. It was soggy on the inside. Seems like the fryer was on too high heat because the outside was darker than golden brown, not burnt, but the inside was soggy, the batter wasn't even cooked through. We sent it back, and the 2nd time around it came back all soggy, inside and out, not crispy like it's supposed to be. The batter slide off the fish like it was some sort of packaging. The staff offered us a slice of cheese cake to go, as remediation, but made us pay for the horrible fish and chips, in which case they shouldn't have charged us for. The cheesecake wasn't good either. Cheesecake 3/10 I've had far better fish and chips elsewhere, and won't be coming back to this establishment and franchise. Fish and chips 1/10 only because the fish was edible but greasy. The staff is kind, courteous, and prompt, the place was clean, bathrooms were clean, both male and female. This place might be for you, but definitely wasn't my cup of tea.

The service was fantastic right from the front of the house to the server. Fast friendly and efficient. Food came out hot and fast. We both had chicken tenders with Hickory BBQ. The sauce was delicious and tangy. Fries were good but a little undercooked. A fun bar atmosphere however was a bit too loud for our liking. If you enjoy sports huge tvs everywhere. Parking was easily found nearby. Enter from inside the mall. Lots of outdoor seating but we stayed inside.

I had the pleasure of being served by Nicole, and she truly made the dining experience exceptional! She was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient – everything you could want in a server. Not only did she ensure we were well taken care of, but she also went above and beyond by making sure our dog was comfortable on the patio, bringing water and checking in on him throughout the meal. Very pet friendly! The food was fantastic, especially their new dish— the cod, which was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Overall, a top-notch experience. Highly recommend both the restaurant and Nicole’s outstanding service!

Picutes may look like "ok" food, don't be fooled -_- Really dislike posting bad ratings but tonight it has to be done for Gabbys - parkway mall location. The service from both the lady bartender [sorry, did not get her name] and our server Yogi were completely professional and enjoyable, the nicest kind of people. The nachos I ordered were not great, little meat which I chewed for a couple of minutes before having to dispose of it. It was also not ground beef on the nachos but some rather skimpy and chewy mini slices? Husband had the "supposedly " smoked brisket sandwich...it came smothered in bbq sauce, it was not smoked meat at all...no smoke ring, no smoke taste. We are in a heatwave and in this restaurant we were sweating enough to be completely uncomfortable and husband asked the manager why it was so hot and he didn't really have a clear answer as to why. Never again will we go here, this is the 3rd time as we live just across the street we've tried again and again....it always disappoints :( Save your money go someplace else!

4.1 / 5.0 I’ve had some great food and not so great food here. Atmosphere is a lot of fun though- TVs are well placed, and the bar has a nice design and store layout for seating. I liked the patio for the location with an outdoor TV (in a plaza parking lot). I’ve seen the owner working hard, and the staff, they know what they’re doing and are professional. Food - the menus are well designed, I just felt execution could improve. Like the $18.99 buttermilk soaked chicken fingers (signature / made to order - not frozen), we’re not exactly signature (more like thin cut fingers and slightly over cooked). Salad was good. Wings weren’t bad. Pizza was a bit disappointing where it could / should have been better with the potential - the bottom was floppy even when asked for well done (advertised as stone-fired). I had Wings a second time, and they were very good. Crispy, nice size. Would get them again. I would go back to enjoy a game and atmosphere with friends and give the food another chance. I think it could be a 4.3 bar.

Wow, they are really leaning into the "Dive" theme now. In spite of the theme, the quality was passing, at least. Uber delivered it as a 2 for 1 deal. I didn't taste or notice anything off on everything except the buns and lettuce. The lettuce was either old, sat outside for a very long time, or was part of a rejected order. I'm leaning to the latter. Same went for the buns. It felt like they were starting to stale up, becoming dry and crumbling. I would go back, only to have drinks. Unopened drinks. The black containers are mine. Not sure why I started to prepare it all to be put away when I'm left with the fries and beef patties only.
