Gabby's - King West

You can never go wrong with coming to Gabby’s. the food and service are always exceptional. Met with my buddy and was surprised how packed it was considering New Years was yesterday. Ordered a pound of wings and sweet potato fries. Wings are giant, fries were cooked well, not soggy. Been here before and had the bison burger and fish and chips. This is proper comfort food and the service from the staff never disappoints.

I've been a fan of Gabby's for years, and their King St West location certainly lives up to the hype. The friendly and knowledgeable staff was a highlight, and their recommendation of the haddock fish and chips was spot on. The generous portion size was impressive, and the fish was perfectly battered—a delightful balance of crispy exterior and tender interior. The crispy fries and tangy tartar sauce complemented the dish beautifully. The cozy atmosphere and classic pub decor create a welcoming ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal or catching a game. With daily specials and a convenient location, I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

Typically bar. Food was decent. You can tell the chicken tenders were fresh, not frozen. Nothing to write home about but it was decent. The ceasar salad was a little weak but it's a bar. How many people are really eating a salad like that?

Came here after a Blue Jays game twice in the past 10 days (first and second time there). Ordered their wings both times. I'm pretty picky with my wings, which is my go-to meal when I go out. I tried 3 different sauces/rubs and they didn't disappoint. I'd like to say they're in my top group of best wings I've had. Very pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was great being on the outside patio with nice weather and the servers were very pleasant. My only negative is that each time it was hard to find a host to sit us (both times). So there's definitely an issue there. Otherwise a nice experience overall. A bonus is that wings are half price Mondays and Wednesdays. Took advantage of this offer during one visit. Usually it's one day a week at most establishments but that they offer this deal twice a week is a bonus. Worth a visit.

Unfortunately pretty disappointing. The portion for the spinach dip was hilariously small. It seemed like half of the chicken strips had sauce on them, in addition to also being a small portion and coming out cold. Fries tasted a bit burnt despite not being crispy - suspect they need to change their fryer oil. The live music was nice

Gabby's provides exceptional service with attentive staff who ensure a pleasant dining experience. However, while the poutine and fish and chips were decent, they didn't quite hit the mark in terms of flavor. The dishes lacked that extra burst of taste or unique seasoning that would have made them memorable. Overall, a satisfactory meal but not outstanding in terms of taste.

Great place for casual dining and hanging out. The food was tasty, the prices were reasonable and the service was prompt. We were a group of four and ordered several items: the California Chicken Sandwich, Single Wings, Beer Battered Fish and Chips (Regular), Chicken Cobb Salad and a Steak Meal. The portion sizes were ample for all four of us.

Was coming out of TIFF and was looking for a place to eat so I was very pleased to see this place open right across the street! It has a very nice chill atmosphere and lots of interesting appetizers and other food to choose from. Lots of good Wing flavors and the two I got were delicious! I can't recommend the parmesan fries enough though they were fantastic. Great service and not too badly priced. Felt very welcoming and I will definitely be back especially as it is across from my favorite spot.
