I've been waiting for a shop like this to come to our neighbourhood! Fantastic spot; the roast chicken was delicious and we devoured the frozen focaccia which we devoured at home. The shelves are stocked with scrumptious treats and convenient meals, either from the hot table or in the frozen section. Cheeses, meats, wines, pastas - you name it! Come on by and have a look, you'll be thrilled that you did.

So much pizza talk in this city but gMercato remains slept on. Their dough (ask about it) and how it bakes up will make you hate most every other pie you’ve had in Toronto. gMercato is a euro-style market shop with a focus on Italian cuisine. Products on the shelves are high quality and stocked with purpose. There’s a full kitchen setup on-site (with dedicated staff) - meaning sandwiches and other prepared to-go items are truly fresh made. Do yourself a favour: get a slice for now, a sandwich for lunch tomorrow - and maybe a nice sauce for dinner later in the week. Don’t know where to start? The owners are friendly, local, and happy to help. A great addition to the neighborhood and worth a trip to pop-in.

I don’t think we talk about their pizza enough. WOW. The crust. The sauce . The fresh toppings. Go there for a slice and thank me later. On a side note, their customer service was also impeccable. The chef asked what type of pizza I was wanted and he customized it accordingly.

Clean, spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Food is delicious, pizza fresh straight from the stone fired oven. No time to cook, consider their vast assortment of frozen dishes. Easy to bake, have yourself a high end gourmet Italian meal in the comfort of your home, at reasonable prices.

Dogs are welcome! Food is fresh and delicious, and service is fantastic. Ordered a mocha, and Italian sausage breakfast sandwich. The roasted red peppers when matched with provolone cheese is just euphoric!

A new local cafe with good coffee and an excellent assortment of pastries. Modern vibe that makes it great for hanging out and working or just stopping in for a coffee and a snack. Baristas are friendly and efficient. Owners are also local, and often around. Had a matcha latte and some pastries. I recommend the kouign amann as theres not too many places that carry it.

Walked by to Mercato Dufferin has finally opened. At least the cafe side of the operation. I got a white cheddar and chive scone to go. Just $5 with taxes with a good price point for the area. We've 3 other bakery spots within a 5 minute walk of this spot. The scone was good. I want to come back and try other options... including the lunch menu.
