So happy we found this beautiful Italian restaurant for dinner on New Year’s Eve. Everything from the service to the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Fusaro’s Italian Kitchen in downtown Toronto is hands down one of the best spots for Italian food in the city! Their homemade tomato sauce is absolutely to die for—I even bought a jar to take home and make pasta with it. From the appetizers, we've tried the arancini and the cheesy garlic bread, both served with their famous red sauce. Both were outstanding and perfect to kick off the meal. For lunch, I always go for their vegetable primavera pasta. It’s loaded with fresh veggies and paired with a rich, creamy rose sauce—just perfection. Their pizzas are equally amazing, with a perfect crust and bold, fresh flavors. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere makes for a great dining experience. If you’re in the city and craving Italian food, Fusaro’s is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

I’ve been meaning to try Fusaro for the longest time, teasing me every time I go to Chinatown or come back from the movies. Finally decided to try it as an excuse to catch up with some friends who work close by. Lighting was warm and the service very nice. Vibe is casual, perfect for a catch up or a quick bite. We tried to order a bit of everything; an app, a panini, a pasta dish and a pizza. Everything was okay. To be critical, the pasta sauce was too watery and didn’t stick. The pizza was sloppy and topping immediately fell as you lifted a slice. The panini was actually pretty nice. Taste was good in general. It’s unfortunately surrounded by some really good spots such as Cà Phê Rang and Khao San Road so I most likely won’t be going again. But! Worth the look if you’re looking for a quick bite and feeling Italian.

A totally pretend Italian place. Mussels were not washed properly. They were sandy. The calamari was rubbery. There was lots of salt but no spicing. The food was slick and greasy with a layer of oil on top. They offered to replace but considering the quality of all the dishes, we felt it would be pointless. We gave them the $100+ we spent and left. Would NOT recommend any of the dishes.

absolutely LOVED this restaurant. for starters, my friend & i were sat extremely quickly, & the food & drink selections were amazing & affordable. my friend & i both ordered the bolognese, & we loved it. it wasn’t sour, & was a good size. we also ordered the tiramisu, which was amazing as well (btw just one serving of tiramisu is good for two people). the waiter that helped us that day was also super kind & patient when my friend had a payment issue. the washrooms are also very clean.

Came here with a friend after visiting the flower market! We had some fresh flowers with us that we had to carry for the rest of the day, and they were kind enough to give us some plastic bags so we can keep the stems moist- thank you! The food was ok. It was a bit more watery than what I expected, but the taste was there. They have a little pantry shop inside so you can buy some high quality ingredients and make it yourself!

Fusaro's feels like a no nonsense type of casual italian eatery. The menu items are clean and simple, and there's only one type of dessert: tiramisu! The food quality and portion sizes are good, and the staff are super nice too. I feel like the interior of the restaurant could use improvement in decorating to cover the brown walls and curtains. Also, the tables are very sticky (cannot be fixed by spraying down and wiping) and there are no tablecloths to ensure your hands and arms won't also feel sticky. I hope that the restaurant can address this issue quickly.
