Friends Fries

My personal all time favorite is their takoyaki dish and the hashbrown fries with Chili/Jalapeno dip. Surprisingly Scrumptious indeed! The Owner, Mike has a superb customer service approach and the rest of the friends fries team did a great job as well. Over all experience was flabbergasting. See you next summer 🌻

I ordered regular fries with brisket. The bowl looked appealing and the taste was good. The brisket was tasty and well cooked, but maybe because it was at the end of the day the amount of it probably summed up the size of a spoon. There was plenty fries, not enough gravy and little brisket, which felt a bit dry. In all honesty I am not an avid fries eater, but there was not much around to shop from. For those who love fries, probably this is a good place to go. The food seemed a little bit overpriced too. I payed $23 for this order (tax and tip included) The gentleman who was serving was nice and had a contagiously positive attitude.

Probably the best fries I’ve ever had. You get so much food in one order! The owners were so kind and took the time to walk us through the menu and even gave us extra sauces to try (which were delicious by the way, the truffle and the jalapeño ones were our favourite). Must visit if you’re around the area!!

BEST French fry place in the city!!! Michael is such a breath of fresh air every time you pass by and you’re always greeted with a wonderful smile! My favourites are the hashbrown fries because they have that crunchy exterior but also soft and pillowy interior that goes so well with the tarragon citrus dip!! Have brought a few friends here and they all have been pleasantly surprised with the options and flavours (even those that aren’t into fries that much!!) Also DO NOT sleep on the lobster roll fries and delicious Japanese hot dog as well!! 11/10 would recommend coming by because you won’t be disappointed!!

TORONTO MUST TRY!!!! The owner is super nice and totally chill. They have the most amazing fries. The poutine is out of this world good. I just had the takoyaki and I have to say. Mind blowing! I've had it at a bunch of places all over and this was really really good. If your in the GTA make a pit stop it's 100% worth it.

The fries were amazing and the chef was kind enough to give us some additional sauces to try - exceptional service and really made our evening! I got the lobster roll inspired one with the smoky fries and I really enjoyed it!

Saw a Tiktok about this place and brought my bestie with me to check it out. The owner was super nice and knowledgeable. We had a nice chit chat with him as we were trying to decide what to get off the menu. I ended up choosing the Smokey Fries & Takoyaki and it was super delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try the other offerings during the summer months(I believe this location is opened for the summer only). I really appreciated the patience and passion the owner has for his business, it made the experience very warm and welcoming. I find a lot of places in the city(especially fast food vendors- are lacking in customer service). So if you’re looking for a new place to try with great service and food, I would definitely recommend checking out Friends Fries! Who doesn’t love fries?!! Oh and bring your friends!

I found this place while walking along the Harbourfront. The fries were the best I’ve had in Toronto, and the hot dogs were really tasty too! The owner was very friendly. I will definitely visit again whenever I’m in the area.
