Their burger is the best in the town! So juicy but not oily. It’s got a nice view too.

When we entered the restaurant for lunch earlier today, the employee working was very hospitable & friendly! All of my friends seemed to really enjoy the burgers & they were served very quickly. The gentleman who was making the food noticed I didn’t order anything/wasn’t eating like all my other friends. He asked me if I wanted some fries & offered to give me some for free! I felt extremely touched by his kindness & generosity. Money is kinda tight some times & overall I felt very thankful to God & this kind employee today! The fries were nicely crispy & the sauce & scallions on top tasted really good together! If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely come back!

I’m always searching for a good burger and Friday Burger on Danforth hits the spot! I stopped in for lunch on a Friday (11/1) and, after a few questions about the menu, ordered the double stack burger. When it came out, I knew I was in for a treat! The Double Friday Burger was flavorful and the additional toppings were in every bite. D, the manager, provided great, friendly service while preparing my food. And the music was on point! I’ve found my burger spot in this area. If you’re on the Danny and looking for a good burger spot, check them out.

My partner said he had driven past a bunch of times and he wanted to try it. I was hesitant, for no reason just wasn’t in the mood. Well we did and got the hot dog special. Which had Alabama white sauce. It was pretty darn good! Everything was made fresh to order and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely come here again. The space is intimate but super bright and warm. It’s a very nice little restaurant to dine in I would say. We would probably come here for lunch on a Saturday. It’s Ina. Nice walkable part of the Danforth and reasonably priced.

One of the hidden gems of east York! A must try burger, the fried pickles are delicious and the burgers are quite good. I loved their fries as well! The burgers in the video are mushroom and Carolina burgers.

Finally had the chance to try Friday Burger after hearing so much about its quality and philosophy. I tried the Double Friday Burger, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and Carolina Burger. Overall, the quality is solid. However, there’s a catch for those who aren’t fans of pickles. The beef burgers have a complex pickle presence with a strong vinegary note that dominates the flavor. The meat is cooked really well, but if you’re not into pickles, you might want to opt for Chicken Sandwiches or look elsewhere. Comparing Friday Burger directly to Burger Drops isn’t fair since they’re different beasts. Friday Burger has its own sauce and pickle philosophy, which adds a unique kick with strong presence unlike Burger Drop. Personally, as someone who prefers as less presence of sauce and condiments as possible, I’d choose Burger Drop for a more straightforward burger experience and keep Friday Burger for when I want to spice up my day. The chicken sandwiches are juicy with a hint of crunch from the thin batter, which I liked. However, I wished it was a tad crispier. Between the Buttermilk and Nashville Hot Chicken, the latter wins with its more complex flavor profile. For some reason, it was rather challenging to admire the Buttermilk Sandwich. Now, onto the sides. The French fries and pickle fries were a real letdown. frozen Cavendish fries just don’t match the quality of the burgers especially when the fresh cut fries as nearly standard at this price range nowadays, and the pickle fries, made from slices, lose their tangy juices. Whole pickles might have worked better. Service-wise, the staff did their best despite the rush of orders, but a bit more attentiveness would have been nice. FBC is indeed the great spot for a burger with a unique twist, but I’ll probably be avoiding the sides next time.

Came here with my girlfriend and had an amazing experience. The person behind the counter greeted us, gave us some recommendations as it was our first time here, and chatted us up the whole time we ordered and while he prepared our meal. I had a double Friday Burger, and got a chili cheese fries to share with my girlfriend, while she got a regular Friday Burger and a chocolate shake. I was worried if the portion for the chili cheese fries would be enough for the both of us, but we were assured that he usually loads them to the brim. And we were not disappointed. The fries were super crispy and soft and fluffy on the inside, and the seasoning they use on them is very tasty. The chili and cheese sauce is also very good. Food quality here is exceptional, maybe one of the best burgers I've had, and definitely the best burger that I've had in Toronto for sure. I will definitely be coming back! A must try for sure.

Read the article on Toronto Life magazine about the place and the owner Joe, Friday, and was curious to try the as we were around the area. This was on Sunday afternoon. The place was small, but sufficient for a quick bite to eat and take out. We ordered the Friday burger, mushroom burger and Friday junior burgers for kids along with regular fries, chili cheese fries and a chocolate milk shake. You can custom the toppings on the burger in case there is something you may not like to eat. The wait wasn't too long, about 10 minutes and there was an order ahead of us. They make it fresh. The burgers were seasoned well with the toppings provided and the chili cheese fries were delicious. The bun was soft. The regular fries and junior burgers were also liked by kids who are picky eaters. Chocolate milkshake was rich and smooth. The owner and chef, Joe Friday, was there and was pleasant to talk to. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat or if you like burgers. Would come back to try their buttermilk and Nashville chicken burgers and strawberry cheesecake milkshake.
