Frankie Panini

Aurora is home to many quality Restaurants, one of my favorites is Frankie Panini's at 15177 Yonge Street at Church St. Frankie is usually creating his signature dishes in the kitchen while his daughter welcomes everyone at the front counter. The other day I ordered one of their Pizza's with mushrooms, green olives, tomatoes and sweet peppers. When the Pizza was ready Frankie came out of the kitchen to say hello. I've tried their sandwiches, calamari, and Pizza and all of them are tasty and prepared with quality ingredients. Next time you feel like authentic Italian food at a reasonable price, why not take a trip to Frankie Panini's. You wont be disappointed.

So happy to find my new favorite Italian sandwich shop in my area! The veal sandwiches are a generous portion but reasonably priced compared to other Italian sandwich shops. The sauce was so flavorful but simple so I can enjoy the taste of veal and meatballs too. Meatballs were juicy and flavorful but not overly salty like I’ve had elsewhere. The staff were really nice and friendly. They even accommodated serving one of the veals and meatballs with no bun because someone in our group was avoiding bread. I checked out the catering menu and the prices were very reasonable there as well. We’re excited to order from them at our next event.

You may wait a bit but OMG I don’t think I have ever tasted a crust so light and airy. Portion of the panzo is crazy but my husband and I are good for two meals under $40!! Staff is super friendly felt like being home.

Flavors are good but never had veal this thin before, mainly breading. Would be better if it was a thicker piece that was more tender. Don’t recommend the calamari

Decided to go try this spot. I was told they have a good sandwich so I went. And yes, the veal sandwich was very good. Taste homemade sauce. Not too sweet. Veal nice and tender

My family and I tried Frankie’s Panini for the first time today and it was delicious, definitely will be back for more! The service was amazing, they are so friendly and passionate about providing customers with a great experience and authentic Italian food. We got the veal and meatball sandwiches which were so flavourful, and we also tried the rose gnocchi which melted in your mouth! ALSO, their pizza is to die for!!! Can’t wait to return :)

So glad they re-opened in Aurora. For those who don't know, they had a place in King City, at Yonge on King Rd S, called Tutti Panini. Went by for their grand opening, line up out the door and many people like myself talking how happy they were that Frank and his family opened up. This said, we had the calamari and veal sandwich. Delicious. I will say the calamari was surprisingly tender for a thicker cut. The sauce tasted like tomato, like it should and was fresh. Looking forward to trying all their food. Thank you Frank and family for opening up again. You'll see our faces often.
