Fox and John's Pub and Restaurant

I’ve been here lots throughout the year as it’s a local pub for me. The food isn’t bad but I find that they always get something wrong… whether it be the entire meal, or just a small aspect to it. I’ve probably dined here about 30 times since it’s so close by, so I have noticed this. But it’s always packed and lively, and is located perfectly on the corner in Bloor West Village.

Fox is basically a Sports Bar, but the food flies well above that category. Generous portions, really good pricing, much better quality ingredients. I'm no sports fan, but this is one of my favorite neighborhood places to eat. The $24 steak special was not the best steak I've ever had, but it sure was in the running for best $24 steak since 1988. Special gem: The Power Bowl is something your vegan friends might like (if you have vegan friends), quinoa, red pepper, chick peas, avocado. But, they'll add steak or shrimp for a couple bucks. I eat a veg bowl that should make my cardiologist happy, and 8 (or so) ounces of beautiful, medium rare steak on top. It's amazing.

This place is really good, we ordered steak sandwich, chicken buffalo wrap, truffle fries, beers and sangria, everything was really delicious except the red sangria. I highly recommend here to spend fun time with your friends and family to have a good meal and drink.

If you're looking for a cozy local pub, Fox and John's Pub is an excellent spot to check out. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to unwind after work or catch up with friends over a beer. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area!.

A spur of the moment decision led us to this restaurant, which led to an enjoyable brunch. There was a great mix of people enjoying the overall chill feeling of the pub. Bc The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The cleanest washroom I have ever seen - they set the gold standard. Food was delicious - some of the best home fries I have ever tried. Highly recommend this for a weekend brunch.

It was my first time going here. The patio is really nice and spacious. There was no line or wait time. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the fish tacos and a mojito. Prices are average. Our waitress Selin was not only gorgeous but has such an amazing personality. She really added to the ambience and her customer service was fabulous! I'd go back here again and hopefully Selin is working!

Came here a couple times for dinner and the food is pretty good for a pub. The calamari is a great appetizer, generous portion, and quite tasty. I got the energy bowl this time and added shrimp, and that came in a pretty big portion where I had half for dinner and half for lunch the next day. I had the grapefruit Radler which was also quite tasty. We also tried the onion soup which is good, I would recommend. Recommend this place for a quick bite, the food And drinks are quite reasonably priced and the portions are quite big. If you were into sports, this is a great sports bar as well as I have a lot of televisions playing different games. Atmosphere was cool and not too loud. Highly recommend.
