Food Monks

I ordered the monthly subscription from Food Monks, and I deeply regret it. Most of the time, I had to throw the food away because it looked stale, smelled bad, and sometimes even had fungus on it. The worst part? After eating their food, I developed serious stomach issues, which led me to see a doctor. I strongly advise against ordering from here. You’ll not only lose your money but also risk your health. I repeat, NEVER order from Food Monks!

It’s been year I am taking Tiffin Service from Food monks and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! The food is absolutely delicious – each meal is flavorful and well-prepared. The variety in their menu is great, and the quality is consistently top-notch. What stands out even more is their friendly customer support – they are always prompt, courteous, and willing to accommodate any special requests. I highly recommend Food Monks for anyone looking for tasty and reliable tiffin service!

Horrible service. Please do not order from here. They mislead on the website. 1. There is no concept of lunch/ dinner delivery as claimed - they delivered a dinner delivery at 7:45AM. When you call them the number does not connect. When you email them it displays an error and unable to deliver. No way to reach them. 2. There is no doorstep delivery. The delivery persons will park on the road ACROSS from your building and make you meet them. Will refuse to hear anything about timing: will ask you to call which is of course a joke. 3. The food quality is below average . Barely 1 or 2 out of 6 items will be edible. We are throwing away most of it sadly as it’s not cooked well. The rotis are okay. Perhaps it works for others but not for working professionals or students who choose such services carefully to save time in their busy schedule. Honestly the worst customer service I have had in my life. They are looting hard earned money and nothing else. Please avoid for your peace of mind.

I am a hygienic concern person. That's why I've been cooking myself for past 2 years. In canada tried food monks service for first time and a lots of things were messed up. Got spoiled food on 4th day, this could lead to food poisoning or worse. NOT trying to Defame this guys but just be carefull and check your food right after getting it. And do take SS of your menu that you selected so thay you can check that you're getting what you ordered.

Very bad experience, please do not opt for tiffin service. As a student i have been ordering tiffin service and my order is 12 oz but what I get is only 10 oz. I have complaint them several times but all i get in response is that due to spillage we give less then why take money for 12 oz then. Also, instead of improving their packing they reduce the quantity. The food is delivered through car and the roads in toronto are pretty good. I don’t know how they are having spillage problem. It is not the worth of money you’re paying there are other good tiffin services out there who actually value their customers.

I tried 2 trial meals from them and I have tried various tiffins in the past. I have a holistic opinion. Food Monks food was abundantly spicy or inedible. The Chapatis were partly burnt and stale. On the contrary, the tiffin I currently have is a lot better and home cooked. So, I would not recommend Food Monks. They are cheap but not value for sure. Hope you guys improve on that and this is an unbiased review, hoping you take it positively and work towards building customer experience as part of your work process. Thanks!

The worst tiffin (food) service i have ever had since two years. The quality of the food is below par and stale food many times. The quantity is never sufficient for one meal for a person. The food smells and taste like cooked a week earlier. The gravy is like jelly, eveytime i get chicken, egg and fish curries. All these curries are stale and foul odour. The packaging is always leaking and doesnt hold the container before the delivery. Every time you tell them a complaint you get an apology message, and no further actions will be taken. Worst Food taste. Worst Food handling. Worst customer Experience. Google doesnt allow us to give less than 1 star. They dont even deserve 1 star rating. I am writing this review after waiting for 10 meals. Hoping it could get better some time, but it never happened.
