i usually am never able to finish full plates at restaurants, but i absolutely wiped my plate clean, and even finished a dessert dish! everything was absolutely amazing and delicious! The workers were also extremely kind and gave us helpful tips on what to order and their specialties. Even the songs being played while we ate was perfect, it added a very nice cozy vibe to the already awesome decorated restaurant. If i lived in toronto, i would definitely consider going everyday. Thanks for the amazing service!

Found this restaurant off Google Maps and thought to try it. They have a pretty good amount of seating, and would recommend sitting towards the back if you can specially during the colder months because the wind does travel in. The service was pretty attentive and everyone was making sure we were good with everything. The restaurant manager also introduced herself during our meal and checked in on us. The soufflé pancake is nice. I wonder though if the centre could be cooked more because it tasted on the raw side for me. I liked the matcha cream and I find you don’t need any maple syrup to add on with just that. The chicken was dark meat and found it seasoned well, maybe even a bit on the salty side, and was moist and crispy. I didn’t care too much for the waffles - found them pretty typical and would have preferred them on the softer side. This dish came with a maple sauce which was super thick and you can’t even pour it out. You kinda have to dip your spoon in to take it out to put it on the waffles/ chicken. It would’ve been better in my opinion to have this maple sauce more runny so that you can actually pour it over. They also served something like a strawberry spread on the side - the texture is a bit like butter that you pick up and spread. It has a good strawberry taste to it and has a bit of gritty texture. I liked it and found myself eating it on its own too. Overall, service was great. Food was decent, and would recommend for anyone looking for brunch in the area.

Love the food and the Quantity. They are pretty generous in terms of quantity and the food just tastes delicious. We ordered for Flipper Pancakes, Egg Salmon Benedict’s and Chicken Waffle. Everything was so damn tasty. Specially Chicken Waffle was extraordinary with Maple syrup and Strawberry butter. Also the eggs were properly poached.

I had a lovely experience at this all-day brunch spot! We tried the strawberry and banana pancakes and the poached eggs with waffles. The waffles were absolutely amazing—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and paired perfectly with the poached eggs. The pancakes were good, but they could have been a bit more flavorful. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly.

Lovely little breakfast spot in a neighborhood that caters more to lunch and dinner. Simple but well executed menu The coffee was excellent-- darker roast than most restaurants. Branding and decor also on point. All around happy for this new addition right by our go-to hotel.

Best pan cake ever! Cakes were so tasty, texture of the inside was perfect! It was soft and sweet. (Not too much sweet that’s the point!) I’ll come back again definitely! Also Sarah and Bonnie were so nice and kind :)

A true gem of a breakfast diner that is nestled and almost unnoticeable on the south side of Elm Street, closer to Young St., the vibe is easy going and relaxed. We were told that the pancakes would take approximately 10-20 minutes to make, which was fine with us, since we warned and also because of the buzz surrounding their taste. The wait was well worth it! The cakes were soft and gushy, but not overpowering or over filling. We also tried the eggs Benedict, and mistakenly ordered extra fries, but wound up wanting even more fries - trust me, they are top notch and the house made dipping sauce is in a class of its own. The stained glasses window with the arches also added an aesthetic touch that looks fun for photos and sky larking. In short, this is a breakfast dining experience you don’t want miss and ought to try at least once.

Flipper’s is a great place for breakfast on the Elm street like a little gem in the downtown core. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We tried their signature strawberry soufflé pancake and also fresh fruit option, chicken waffles and Eggs Benedict. The dishes were well presented and scrumptious. Everyone enjoyed the food and especially my daughters love the fluffy pancakes so much. Highly recommend!
