Flaming Kitchen 一伙堂（Mississauga）

This restaurant has a HK Style Cafe vibe. The employees are tentative and nice. The place was bright and clean. We came on a Monday night and there was no wait. The food was delicious and we ordered a variety of food from steak, noodles, rice and hotpot. The food came pipping hot, and flavourful. We will return and try the other items as well! The prices were really fair. It only costed us $121 and we ordered 5 mains, 2 appetizers and 3 specialty drinks.

I ordered the mini hot pot (beef), spicy chicken tomato spaghetti, mango slush & lychee yogurt soda with jelly. The food tasted amazing & it was served very hot so by the time we finished it was still warm & not cold. Mango slush was delicious too but the lychee soda tasted okayish. Overall it was an amazing experience. The staff was very prompt & respectful & the ambience was welcoming. Highly recommended.

This place is great for a quick meal or sit down with friends/family. You order off your phone and the food comes super fast on VERY HOT plates. I got the eel dish which was delicious with the pairing of the rice, corn and cabbage. My friend got the chicken dish and the sauce was AMAZING. It’s like a spicy cream sauce and pairs so well with the chicken. Staff was quick and friendly, overall a good spot close to SQ1! P.S. I recommend smashing the rice down onto the plates to get the rice super crispy and chewy!

Every single dish is yummy. We love the flaming spicy chicken rice! It’s so creamy and a little spicy. The honey garlic beef rice is a great option for those who like sweet taste. Highly recommend the sizzling cheesy rice cake!

This isn’t my first time here—I’ve visited previously and usually enjoyed their sizzling mains. This time, I stopped by with my cousin for a quick snack and we ordered the popcorn chicken and bite-sized tofu. The popcorn chicken came out first, but to our surprise, my cousin’s piece was hot while mine was cold. On closer inspection, we noticed some pieces were darker than others, leading us to think they may have mixed fresh and older batches. Half of the pieces were genuinely cold, not even room temperature. We raised the issue with the staff, who took the plate back to the kitchen and returned a minute later, saying they had prepared a “new” batch. The timing seemed too quick, and the pieces still looked unevenly cooked, with half darker than the others. At least they were warm this time, but the experience was still disappointing.

Generally ok. Prices are reasonable but food is ok. The rice cake is pretty good. The curry noodle can 100% be skipped. It’s exactly the same are you could make at home using curry brick. The vegetable is a bit under cooked so the grassy smell is still there. The rice dish on skillet is ok. Rice itself is too hard, feels like been sitting for a while. The seafood is fine, not fishy smell which is good, but the duck is too dry. Overall it’s interesting to try, but no need to repeat.

Not the best but not the worst. Still have a lot of room for improvement. The restaurant is comfortable to dine in. Servers were all nice. Biggest complain is the rice. Too soft. Also, the plates weren’t super hot enough. The fried popcorn chicken was too soft. Need to put more efforts to make these side dishes nice.

I had eaten at their other branches but was so happy to know their was one now in my Hood! From the time we entered we found the servers attentive and cordial. They were also accommodating as I wanted a vegetarian platter but wanted some chicken with it which they gladly obliged. The drinks are so good!I ordered blackberries and Ribena slushie and just loved it! The food was so well presented and came piping hot and fresh. One can really tell when the food is so fresh! I will definitely come back to try the appetizers. The servings are a decent size. For parking - park at the Green P as it’s only $1 per hour . Very convenient and barely a three min walk. The place did seem kid friendly and looked spotlessly clean. The Menu is so huge and they have a Lunch special menu and the popular ten items on the menu too! The experience was fantastic - the flavours, hospitality and ambiance were all spot on!
