Firki Indian Restaurant & Bar

Asked for onion and they gave us frozen onion also hire a good dishwasher. And this is not the first time we are disappointed with the service. Every time they just decide to do one or other blunders. This time i have had enough of them. That’s why I am posting this review

I ordered aloo tikki chaat for pickup. When i came home n i had a few bites . I found a rock in it because of which i hurt my tooth as well. Very disappointed.

I recently visited Firki for the second time and was impressed once again. The food was delicious, with generous portions for both the appetizer and main course. The staff was friendly and attentive, particularly Bhavan, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Firki a few times in the past for both dine in and take out. The food is mostly good and delicious except for a few items. The ambience is decent but needs some improvement to showcase a better environment. I recently ordered Dal Makhani, Baingan Bharta, Vegetable Biryani, Some Butter Naans and Tandoori Rotis. The Dal Makhani has always been excellent. It’s been well cooked and has the right texture and consistency. Very flavourful. Not many Indian restaurants in Canada have this same authentic taste. The Baingan Bharta was also good and appetizing. Nicely made with the right amount of spices. Sadly, the Vegetable Biryani had the appearance of a Vegetable Pulao. However, the flavours were okay. The veggies - Broccoli and Cauliflower did not taste good for some reason. They need to improve on the quality of biryanis so they taste authentic. The breads - Butter Naans and Tandoori Rotis were soft and well made. The prices of the dishes here are reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants in GTA. The quantity is good as well. The Chicken Tikka Masala here is simply amazing and my favourite. The taste of this dish takes me back to Delhi in India where I’ve had the same kind of taste. A must try for Non-Veg lovers.

I went there by the reviews.. Chicken Lollipop Chilli Chicken Chicken firkin special Chicken Tikka ....the gravy was tasting of raw turmeric. The atmosphere needs lotta ventilation. We came out smelling like CURRY and we weren't even sitting near the KITCHEN 😁🤣. Not a place you would want to visit if you have places to go AFTER dinner. Service was Excellently manned by the young ladies. It was late but the service was on point. But I doubt if we will repeat this place . Update : they served us spoiled food. We all came down with upset stomach.

We ordered Tikki chat, Malai Kofta, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Naan, Masala papad and Drinks. Everything was looking good and also tasted delicious.

Perfect! Amazing butter chicken, it’s the closest to the Delhi taste in terms of the flavors. Dal makhani is nice as well. This is the second time we are trying this place and food quality seems pretty consistent. Would definitely go back again and try a few other items.
