Firehouse Subs Ancaster Wilson St.

There should be a negative star. This is our second issue at the Firehouse Subs in Ancaster in as many weeks. At first we couldn’t get enough. Never had an issue. Great food, polite staff as well. Our first issue was hot mustard added to a sub instead of regular mustard. Before anyone has an issue with that, it wasn’t what was ordered and it couldn’t be eaten. Tonight, a beef dip sub was ordered and it was raw. When it was returned to the store the individual/staff member tried to convince us…that’s how it should be. It’s not!!! The second picture shows how it should look when cooked. The staff member showed a hunk of beef uncut side to show it was cooked. We asked to see the cut side and it was raw. Bleeding…..

Wow, last night my wife and I had the best subs that we've ever eaten from any Firehouse location. We like many of these subs cold but there is no option to order them cold online or in the app. Simple solution - place the order then immediately call the store and ask them to not heat. Works like a charm. Ordered the new French Dip with double meat (hot) and the Hero (cold). We can normally eat two large subs but these two were really Fully Involved - couldn't finish both but had a nice snack later. Excellent very friendly service, both on the phone and when I picked up the order. Great Job Ancaster crew! We'll be back often.

I've ordered both in person and online and have had consistent issues in getting my order correct on a "make your own" sub. I've asked for no cheese on subs with other sauces (like mayo and mustard) and will frequently get absolutely nothing on the sub or 10lbs of sauce. I've ordered online to pick up with the same issue - either no sauce no cheese, or cheese with a ton of sauce. If I ask for no pickle I get a pickle, If I ask for an extra pickle I get none. I think there is an issue with their ordering system for the "Make your own" sub category or modifications because it's wrong most of the time I've been to this location.

This was my first time having Firehouse Subs. I placed an order for catering for my work. Service was amazing. Super friendly, and quick. When I came in to pick up, my order was ready and packed up on time, even a little early too ;) They even drew some Easter pictures on the boxes. :) Made my day! Thank you so much for the great food. All my associates were so thankful and loved the food. We will definitely order again.

Didn't know there was a Firehouse Subs in Ancaster, now I've eaten there 3 Fridays in a row! Great food clean place. The staff is friendly and the food is ready fast. See you this Friday 😁

Stopped in for a quick bite and was very impressed with this location. Great food; but what really sets it apart was the customer service. Kaitlyn was amazing and is a great asset to firehouse! My 8 yr old loved his meatball sub w/ extra pickles!

Mouth watering delicious meatball subs!!!! I almost forgot a picture. They even gave a firehat for our toddler. Highly reccomend.
