Ferrovia Ristorante

The food and service at Ferrovia Ristorante was awesome! We tried the chef’s specials and both main dishes were delicious and savoury. The Arctic Char was awesome. The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was soft, moist and savoury. The veggies (Brussel sprouts and green beans) were crisp and delicious. The potato was soft and delicious. The Rib Steak (14 oz) was good. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare for us. The steak was moist, tender and savoury. The mash potatoes were filled with buttery goodness and flavour. The asparagus was good and crispy. The Baby Kale Salad was good. It was a good and refreshing salad that had cranberries which provided the slightly tart sweetness and pine nuts which added texture. The honey citrus dressing added in that sweet citrus flavour to make a good Baby Kale Salad. The Tiramisu was awesome. It was creamy but light and not too sweet. They make a real good Tiramisu dessert here :) Would definitely recommend.

Ferrovia restaurant offers an intimate dining experience in a very small setting, which adds to its charm. The servers are extremely friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you step in. Their warm hospitality enhances the overall atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. The pasta was truly amazing, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. However, the lamb did not quite live up to the hype; it fell short of the expectations set by its reviews' reputation. Fortunately, the rest of the menu features options that cater to a variety of taste buds, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Ferrovia seems like a delightful spot, and I look forward to trying more dishes in the future.

We had a fantastic dinner yesterday. I consider Ferrovia as one of the top Italian restaurants in Toronto. Superb quality of food. Dynamic service. Coming back next week.

First time dining in at this restaurant. They have a nice patio and the setting was very cozy inside the restaurant. Lots of great Italian food choices. We were very well taken care of. Our servers were excellent! The prices were reasonable and the food portions were very generous. The food here was absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Antipasto Platter and Sautéed Black Tiger Shrimps, Herb Crusted Rack Of Lamb and Seafood Linguine. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Truly everything was delicious. The carpaccio used fantastic cuts of beef, with just the right amount of seasoning. The funghi pizza was heavenly and perfectly crisp, not with burnt chunks as is the norm with Italian pizza. Beef short ribs flavourful and tender, and desserts were so rich and flavourful. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and shared with us her own love of the food. 100% the best service I have had at a restaurant in years, and she enhanced the entire experience and made it that much more enjoyable. Worth the visit for sure!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Fantastic food, sat on the patio, Ryan our waiter was awesome and gave great recommendations. Loved everything we ordered- grilled calamari, chicken piccata, caprese salad, lamb shanks & banana bread pudding. Will be back!

We celebrated our joint Wedding Anniversaries on a Friday here (3 couples). The place is bustling with people. We ordered 2 kinds of pizza, pastas, gnocchi and beef, all are amazing. We really enjoyed the food..delicious!! We also had Red wine and some liquor shots. We even got comp. desserts. Make sure to try the banana bread pudding for dessert...super yummy!! Wait staff (James) is very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely come back.
