Decided to make the trip to Fat Rabbit for a nice New Year’s Eve dinner and was not disappointed. Everything we ate was high quality and absolutely amazing. We liked it so much we even bought some frozen sausage to take home and try out. For meats we had a small cut sirloin (ended up being ~1lb and perfect for two people to share) and a dish from the special NYE menu with squid ink morcilla sausage and pork belly. We tried out the squash as well and it was absolute perfection. Lastly, I’d recommend saving some room for dessert because the sticky toffee pudding is a must try. This is definitely the restaurant to go to if you like ordering a few dishes and splitting them amongst the people you are with. The service was great and the vibes are casual yet still with an upscale feel. We can’t wait to be back to try some more dishes from the regular menu!

I have been to the restaurant many times, always gets a five star from me. This time I bought from the freezer to take with me to a Villa is Sint Maarten. I purchased some burgers, seafood chowder and Raghu. There burgers were so good I didn’t even take a picture. The seafood chowder was the best we have ever had. We hosted friends and served the Raghu. Compliments flew around the table. Thank you @fatrabbit for making me look and feel like the best host. My pictures aren’t the best nor restaurant worthy, but the taste was.

We had heard about this restaurant when we were planning our wedding in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We came here for our first dinner as a married couple, and it was a fantastic way to start our new marriage! Everything was incredibly tasty, and learning about how the process of everything to have zero waste was great. Will definitely be making the trip from Toronto back out to St. Catherine's just to eat here again!

Food is excellent. Atmosphere not so much. Reviews were very good so we thought let's try it out. It's not a large space , kind of like a deli setting. Theirs some open coolers with different deli and other meats shown. We really enjoyed the food , but it's not food on a budget. Porter house steak for $113.00. it was very tender and well cooked. Golden beets side dish was also very tasty. My only issue is that the prices are fine dining and the atmosphere is not. $350 with a bottle of wine for a couple is on the high side. Service was also very good. Staff is very attentive. The space is loud and tables are very closely spaced. Difficult to have conversations. Theirs a #of winery restaurants close that have similar prices , but much nice ambiance.

It is a huge surprise to find a restaurant with such a class in a small city. This restaurant rocks. You can choose your cut from a glass case. Perfection is what we all agreed on. From the bread to seafood bar to the main dish then dessert. All were great. Wasn’t thrilled about the cauliflower dish but everything else was perfect. What an experience

Appetizers were phenomenal!!! Some of the best squid I have had deep fried. Sour dough elevated anything it was eaten with and complemented the best balanced presentation of burrata I have had. Good quality of ingredients, porter house was nice but a bit over salted in my opinion. Great meal overall and would happily return

This was my second time eating in at Fat Rabbit, and I have came by before to buy meat from the freezer. We sat on the patio on a gorgeous afternoon and made our own charcuterie. And a couple drinks, of course. It was mid afternoon so it was quiet, which was nice. The wait staff gave us awesome recommendations on drinks and cheeses, and made sure we were looked after. It was not cheap but we were a bit over the top with our selections so it was fair. They really are focused on quality there I find - you can tell they really care about their selections. Really enjoyed it. We sat on the patio which was nice - but it is not in the nicest neighborhood. They do a great job keeping the patio private from all the shenanigans down there. It really is a cool restaurant. We grabbed a few items out of the counter on the way out- there are discounts if you’ve eaten in the restaurant and are shopping in your way out. Will definitely be back again.

Fantastic spot! Everything was executed flawlessly; from the interesting wine list, including cocktails/beers all the way to the food and the actual space. It’s clear that those running the place have a clear vision of what they want to achieve. We also got a sense that the team enjoyed working there as everyone seemed engaged in what they were doing. And this comes through in the vibe that they create. Also, the portions are INCREDIBLY generous so it’s very fairly priced for the high quality that is on the plate. A must stop if you’re passing close to this area on your way to Toronto or Niagara and a definite regular hangout if you live close by. Nice touch to be able to purchase from the butcher/cheese/charcuterie counter to take home too.
