We tried this restaurant for the first time. Our order was chicken shawarma, fried cauliflower and pastrami hash. It took around 30 min for the food to come. Shawarma plate was small but the other two were ok. Cauliflower was delicious. A bit over priced overall but good to give it a try. Customer service was good .

Had to write a review just to mention how amazing the staff is!!! From the moment that we arrived everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and asked if they did anything special for the occasion. They noted that we probably wouldn’t have room for dessert (and they were so right about that) and said they can add a candle with the platter that we ordered. ADDITIONALLY, we had a bouquet of flowers and they came over with a vase with water to keep the flowers in - this was so incredibly thoughtful. Will be recommending to family and friends :)

The perfect brunch spot !! We had such a good time. The portions are huge, and the food is phenomenal. Everything was super tasty and the severs were really attentive.

We made the trip all the way from Hamilton for brunch on the eve of October 7th to support our local Jewish community, and it was totally worth it! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our requests, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and authentically Israeli – everything from the fresh eggs to the perfectly cooked chicken was spot on. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming spot with amazing food, definitely check this place out. We’ll be back for sure!

The last time I visited Fat Pasha was before COVID and I was glad to see the restaurant is still doing well and it still had that homey atmosphere. The humus and muhammara were both excellent. The roasted cauliflower was well prepared. The falafels had an unusual lemony/citrus taste that prompted us to speak with the wait staff. A new batch was delivered quickly and it was much better. The lamb and beef kefte was a little overdone unfortunately. However, the mint tea was wonderful and the warm tahini brownie stole the show! The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was cozy and it had the vibe of the neighbourhood.

Latkes with salmon and row were fantastic, highlight of the meal. The hummus brisket platter was different and interesting. Pita was served warm, which is always good to see. Overall nice experience.

Fat Pasha has one of the best patios in the entire city that’s hidden in their backyard. You’re immersed in a cozy and green setting that’s just perfect for summer nights. Food wise; the platter is a must. You’ll get to sample some of their favourite dips. Their baba ganoush was my favourite, as it was very smokey and rich. The cauliflower is also a show stealer. It usually comes with pomegranate but they ran out on this particular day. I think the addition of pomegranate would have helped cut down on the richness. Steak and shawarma dishes were both tasty, and the steak comes out with some nice char.

We recently ordered the chicken shawarma, hummus, and pita bread, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. The flavors were exceptionally authentic, with each bite of the hummus bursting with the rich, earthy taste of chickpeas and a perfect hint of garlic. The chicken shawarma was incredibly tender, almost melting in the mouth, showcasing the chef’s expertise in preparing this classic dish. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. We chose to sit on the patio, which was an excellent decision. The outdoor seating area was beautifully shaded by lush trees, providing a serene and cool environment that enhanced our dining pleasure. While the food and ambiance were top-notch, there is room for improvement in the service. A more friendly and attentive approach from the staff would have elevated the experience even further. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a truly authentic and enjoyable dining experience.
