Factory Girl

Came for dinner with a good friend, and was pleasantly surprised by the Service, Ambiance, and the Food and Cocktails. Really, pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The Service and the food were truly exceptional!

The food here is great! Really enjoyed their tasty grilled cheese and their fries are great. We had hoped they could accommodate our choir on Tuesday nights but their kitchen closes at 9:30pm so we had to find another place. Too bad! Their food and location was good.

Great unpretentious bar on the Danforth. Good beer selection, daily drink specials, and their pizzas are a hidden gem. Only slight critique is that their hot-flavour wings (hot, suicide), while flavourful, have next to no spice level. Add some heat!

Boisterous and incredibly loud inside (like shouting to hear each other loud). My friend enjoyed the simple grilled cheese, we both loved the excellent fries. The beet salad was oddly plain, with canned beets (pretty tasteless), nice fresh spinach, a big lump of goat cheese, and a simple vinaigrette. Edible, but unremarkable. The margaritas were tasty but not potent. Overall simple and suitably economical fare.

Wasn’t a fan of the Factory Club Sandwich - there were not a lot of toppings (I didn’t even have avocado on mine) but there was so much cheese it was more of a grilled cheese with a small piece of meat. Definitely would not order again. The one thing I will note, it was so hot inside the restaurant, it was very uncomfortable (to the point where we had to step outside or go to the washroom to cool down). I’m not sure if the building is climate controlled or not, but management should at least have some fans inside to help with the heat. Overall, not the best experience.

Great place to grab a bite and a pint with friends. Booth, table and bar seating available. Had lunch, with grilled cheese and sweet potato fries and a pint of guiness. Quick friendly service. Would recommend.

Nice bar and atmosphere. I was there in the winter, staff were noce and inside was warm depsite the snow!! The pizza was good as was the mac and cheese and lots of beer selection so great bar and good experience overall! Stairs to get to the bathrooms.

We popped in for lunch today, what a delight! Great patio in the back! Warm and friendly service. Tasty food served up quickly! A really great kids menu that included a drink and dessert! It was perfect! Thanks so much for a nice lunch!
