The food that we ordered (fried tilapia + fried plantain with guacamole.), was delicious and fresh. The fish right to the point, not overcooked or undercooked. Same for the plantain. Portions are nice for the price. Service was also good, and the place does feel like you want to go back to Colombia. We will go back again when we come back to Toronto

Food Poisoning Alert. I recently visited this restaurant with a friend for lunch, and while the overall experience was decent, it wasn't worth the severe illness that followed. Both of us ended up with intense food poisoning, leaving me bedridden and in the bathroom all day. Initially, I thought it might be something else, but when I checked in with my friend, he mentioned he hadn't slept all night due to feeling so unwell. I've never been this sick from a meal. While the ambiance is pleasant, I strongly urge the restaurant to improve its food safety standards. After looking at other reviews, it seems we’re not the only ones who have experienced this.

This place offers a good variety of Colombian food in Toronto. Even when we arrived about 35 minutes before closing they served us without any problem. It seems to be a small family owned business, but I can’t say it for sure. Service was fine, by the time we were there there was no front of the house greeter, the young lady who attended us was out and when she arrived, she was very courteous and was an excellent waiter. My major issue was the food. I ordered the fish sancocho, a fish soup served with a side of white rice, plantains and fried fish. The soup was very good, the rice was a bit over cooked, and the fish was extremely salty on one side and normal on the other. (Did someone forget “that” side was already seasoned?). No coffee or desert was offered at the end Bottom line: Not recommended if you are close to the end of the service hours.

If you want to get the colombian experience, please go here! The food is unbelievable, with tastes representing all colombian regions, so you have lots of different options. The food is served fast; and the portions are big, enough for 2. The atmosphere is incredible. Even though the restaurant is small, it can sit about 30 people. There is colombian music playing and there are a lot of traditional decor all around. It really feels like you are in colombia. The servers were amazing; they always had a big smile, and were super nice at all times. In conclusion, if you want to get the colombian experience, come here!

Food was tasty, but I m giving 3 stars as per person you are expected to pay more than 45$. just paid more than 100$ for 2 this including taxes and regular tip I didn't expect the appetizer portion were this small because of the price (first picture) 18$+tax for the chicarron with arepa 16$+tax for the chorizo with arepa

The best Colombian restaurant that I've tried moment in Toronto. Place: clean, warm space where you remember things of your country with the unique decoration and the joy and friendly experience. Service: excellent, the waitresses asked if everything was OK at least 6 times during my visit (I like that). The chef came to our table and asked about our experience and their amazing creations. Food: I just need to say amazing. My favorite the Arroz Marinero. My congrats to Diana she had the power to recreate the flavors of our country in each dish. Thank you to all of you in Esto es Colombia for giving me the opportunity to feel a few moments in my country.

It was my 1st time going here, i think i went in with higher expectations then i should have. I ordered Arroz con Pollo (rice mixed with chicken and veggies) and was disappointed as it came really dry and i found sausage pieces in it (again not what i expected as i usually eat this without sausage. It just depends on who makes it). It originally came with a different side but i switched it to salad. My husband ordered carne asada (thin sliced beef and then bbqd) with french fries and a small salad. He said it hit the spot but he had better elsewhere. We also ordered a mango juice to split. We ordered it with water instead of the milk option - tasted over watered down.
