Amazing night for my 50th! Back home visiting from Australia and my wife chose your restaurant. You did not disappoint and also catered to some coeliacs in the group. Food was amazing. Loved the DJ! 👍👍

Visited Essence Bistro in Woodbridge for the first time for a birthday dinner. The food that was ordered by members of the party included spinach and leek soup, caesar salad, sourdough bread, steak, lamb chops, and poussin grilled chicken. The Caesar salad included cranberries, which took the salad up a notch, very tasty. I was surprised to see healthy tea mixtures on the menu. The items offered on the menu were very healthy and will satisfy the health-conscious folk. While the portions may not be huge compared to other restaurants, this Bistro's offerings are scrumptious. We had 2 smoked salmon dishes in our party and neither was very fresh sadly. Some mix ups with our order, but nothing detrimental, steak sandwich was thin sliced beef. Nice servers, pretty aesthetic.

Wow! I was sceptical of a place with such a high rating from few write ups, but this place is right on point and deserves the high rating. Quaint and extremely cozy, I won’t be surprised if you can’t get in without reservations in the next few months. Dinner was great, duck was amazing as was the wagyu. Special mention to the pumpkin pie which was one of the most balanced dishes I have ever eaten… the chef was wonderful, the passion and love put in the food shows through, I will be back very soon.

Lovely dinner out with friend. Beautifully prepared dishes, informative staff who explained the flavours and were attentive. The new autumn menu is a must try if you like pumpkin. The cocktails were perfect! Will be back soon. We had the duck, pumpkin goat cheese salad, risotto, lamb chops ( the grapes were an added surprise for the palate) leek soup and their grass fed butter and sour dough bread which are all delicious, healthy and delightful in their own way. The cheesecake is a must if you are staying for dessert.

The place is gorgeous inside with a cute patio, plus they have a separate healthy coffee juice bar. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned—and they even have gluten-free bread that's actually good (a rare find)! 🥂🍳

Amazing food, I loved the farm to table concept while still incorporating top worldly ingredients, as well as the wine pairings for each dish, along side the decadent desserts and one of a kind service and atmosphere. I keep bringing all my friends here to try each dish! I also heard they switch out the menus for each season which I am so looking forward to experiencing. 5/5 stars all round. Highly recommend.
